I agree with both of y’all. New Coldplay does have good songs; you just need to search a little harder for them. Like for example Ghost Story was the b-side on the album Ghost Stories. Amazing song. Also Flags is a more recent b-side of Everyday Life. But there is really something special about old Coldplay. Old Coldplay just hits different 💯💯

Saw Coldplay in Gothenburg, was the best show I ever have seen. The atmosphere, the love, prescence and music. I'm a middleage white guy and I danced the whole 2 hours and I'm not very good at it but I couldn't stop myself.
Got to know Coldplay through BTS in MU, and then the song The Astronaut together with Jin made me a coldplay fan a well. They are so genuine people, spread positivity and extremely talented. ARMY love you so much Chris 💜

Rumors Stadium CSM trying to get Coldplay to Eirias Park in Wales in 2024. Tickets would sell out in seconds. Been a big fan since they started and have seen them at Etihad Manchester twice. Tickets this year are astronomically priced for Manchester, I had NO WI-FI for the entire day the tickets first went on sale, as my network was down....gutted! Did however see the live performance from Buenos Aires in Rhyl Vue Cinema for £20.00, Ghost Stories Album is a legend. :) Giant Framed Poster of Album cover in my front room (Genuine too) 🙂 Awesome band that have helped get me through lots of s**t! through the years. Simply Red and Noel Gallagher were here last year, so not impossible. I'll be first in the que for a ticket if they come X❤

He's still the same. The band is the same but i cannot relate to anything after the first 3 albums. I think they are maybe too epic. The later stuff doesn't get a look in. Always great to listen to Chris. Chris get Johnny to do a RUclips channel! In fact you should all do a channel. All amazing excellent musicians.

That $12 MILLION in just Ticket sales for one show in a medium-sized venue. "the Music of the Spheres World Tour was actually the biggest concert run of 2022 overall, earning $342.1 million from 3.8 million tickets". I know Coldplay doesn't get all $342 mil but they get a Lot of it.

They have many marvelous and unique songs in their newer albums, check them out. New Coldplay is just as beautiful and talented as Old Coldplay.

It's about money. Very few albums make money for the artist anymore. The big bucks are in the concerts tours or a Vegas residency.
