Considering how many other disappointing versions of this song that I have found, it's great to find one that as good as this! It does a great job of keeping the original feeling while making it sound beautiful

I can remember myself in my first playtrough going trough maridia without the gravity suit, trying to find ways to get up by icingthe enemies and using them as platform etc and raging, good old times.
This is hauntingly beautiful. Masterfully done. I'd love to hear this in a (an actually good) cinematic metroid game. Or just as exposition in a normal one.

Great arrangement. I'd love to see more of your Metroid-related work. Rarely do remixers actually catch the spirit of the Metroid series as well as you do. I'm grateful of the honor you give to such a beautiful series.
I love so many things about this tune. It sounds like it would work great in a scene in a Metroid movie where the plot just came crashing together with some totally demoralizing revelation for Samus.
I have been thinking about my next LP and this I think reaffirms super metroid as my choice all the signs seem to be pointing in that direction so thank you for the inspiration :D

This is the BEST Maridia orchestra remix. Period. None come close capturing the dark and abyss-like feelings of Maridia. I WILL throw money at you, and as much as I can, if you decide to create a good Super Metroid orchestrated soundtrack. Not like this "mreomusic" which sucks in comparison to your ability of capturing the mood in the game.
This is a sad arrangement. The feel is very different from the midi's soothing melody. I'm not saying it's bad, just that it's different. It could have played in Other M when the Baby died...

@mistakrunk I wrote the MIDI. Then I processed it using Cubase SX3 and "Edirol Orchestra.
