I bought my daughter a swing set when she was 4. I remember there were large bags of screws, bolts and other stuff. My husband put it together himself. There were five little kiddos sitting on the grass watching him. Just waiting for it to be done so they could play on it. 😊

Thank you, Evan, I lost my husband of 43 years on November 1 it's been difficult but, you are right about thinking of them having the best Christmas ever celebrating with our Lord and Savior. The one thing the nurses told me is that they tried CPR and everything and could not save him, I said I'm not surprised he is now where he has wanted to be with God, there would be no bringing him back. I take comfort in the knowledge that he is no longer suffering.

I was thinking the same thing … to be a big brother to all those siblings is quite a responsibility (not intentionally - just because the eldest is always the one the others look to all through life) and you couldn’t find a better one than Zach. He his so great with his own immediate fam with Whitney and their kids and then always takes time to be involved and help and advise etc his many younger sibs and their families … it’s truly a lovely thing to watch and you know all those children/grandchildren watch how this family takes care of each other and will carry that in for the future. Because ALL of them help each other out at the drop of a hat and help each other in any way needed. Can’t imagine having a family that big - to be able to lean on and share life together!
Weather is truly changing dramatically - It’s much warmer in Minnesota than it is in TN! And zero snow across most of the US. Wild when you’re from a state like ours - MN - which used to be snow and frozen temps from Halloween on … Thanks for noting that lots of people have lost loved ones - or can’t be with family and/or are very sick right now and can’t afford to get others ill… want to keep family and older relatives healthy if possible. If you are alone over the holidays- know lots of people are experiencing the same and there is so much love and caring for you - even if you cannot see it. As ever; your kiddos are so sweet, smart and special. I bet Zade will be a quiet and contemplative guy since he has such a verbal and enthusiastic older sister so close in age !! It’s fun to see how tight and loving they are. Random question about your big mirror: we are thinking about one for the bedroom but also have hardwood floors. 1) we don’t want to damage the wood and 2) we are really scared of something so heavy accidentally falling. So how did you guys ‘mount’ that giant mirror in your living room? What is under the base to protect the hardwood and to keep it from ever moving at all. If we don’t do it right something that heavy, getting bumped and falling, could actually kill a kiddo. So I want to be sure we do it correctly. You probably won’t see this but if anyone in comments has any ideas too - I’d really appreciate it so much. LOVE the play set outdoors - all the hours of creative play in the ‘pretend house/restaurant/hospital’ right in that gorgeous backyard with a beautiful fence is the best gift ever for your kids at their perfect age - it’ll be years of fun!!!! Yes! It was so sweet.. 2 of my brothers passed away this year in the month of June, ages 33yrs. and 43yrs. It was very difficult to walk through the holidays, but the Lord is so patient and loves us so deeply!❤
