Blackburn went onto be the dominant force in English football for the next 20 years and United were never heard from again.
The old reverse Uno card
Nice joke
Well man u havnt been heard of for 6years ya clown lol
LOL🤣
Still bitter?
I'm a gooner but you have to give this man credit. The next season he overhauled the club moving on Ince, Kanchelskis and Hughes on in the ruthless manner he did. After bringing in the kids he did it the smart way slipping in new players one by one not replacing a whole squad all in one go. Hence why he was so successful.
“One point couldn’t be any closer, could it?”
2011-12: hold my beer
Funny you mention that season from the 3 you could've picked.
I think 1997/98 & 2009/10 would be more annoying from ManUtd's perspective as those seasons they literally were the best team.
I'd say although obviously ManUtd were unlucky in 2011/12 and didn't deserve to lose in that manner again etc ..etc...I feel ManCity were worthy winners.
But ManUtd were literally cheated out of the title for sure in 2009/10 by Chelsea with the 2 dodgy wins Chelsea needed vs ManUtd to stand a chance and Gerrard's deliberate backpass to Drogba at 0-0 on the penultimate game to prevent ManUtd overtaking Liverpool on league titles wins that year.
And in 97/98 Arsenal also needed maximum points off ManUtd home & away and the 3-2 at Highbury was a controversial win as well. 0-1 at OldTrafford ManUtd had injury problems and both games RoyKeane was unavailable as he missed most of that season. ManUtd lost that by half a point because they scored more and conceded less than Arsenal with 12GD better than Arsenal despite those 2 lucky Arsenal wins and that climbed them into 1st as the 2nd best team really.
@@cddb5408 Chelsea deserved 09-10, living in your head rent free
@@rohithraman6488 They didn't. Not as much as ManUtd that's for sure.
@@cddb5408 We didn't deserve it as much, you are right. We deserved it more.
@@rohithraman6488 How????
"Are the players disappointed in the dressing room?" What a silly question. Of course they would be.
players actually hate winning
@@FootyCrazyM8 😆
Sir Alex was pure class
Nothing at all against Sir Alex, and I genuinely couldn't care less about United but the little smile he had at the start said more then the whole interview and I loved it.
In fact he really wanted to kill Cantona, if he hadn't got suspended that season United would have done the double.
This is 1995 that was from 1997
@@GurpreetSingh-zp8fz Cantona got suspended in 1995, you're thinking of something else.
@@GurpreetSingh-zp8fz 1997 was when Cantona retired from football.
Cheering for opponents in home stadium... what a day for pool fans 😂
It’s because Kenny Dalglish was Blackburn’s coach and so they were happy to see him lifting the title at Anfield
Well done Blackburn, pool fans needed something to cheer about
Not like united haven’t done that 😂. It’s okay we’re still champions dw
@John Mehan it’s been 5 months what’s your point
@John Mehan 5 months you mean good one. That your job doc brown 😂
What he really wanted to say is 'I'm going to kill Andy Cole'
Fair play to Fergie didn’t realise he was as gracious as that back then!
I'll give anything to go back at that time
Jokes on you time doesn’t exist.
Lmao I really was laughing while reading the title😂
Does not feel that long ago, watched it with my brother down the local. Where does time go.
that's class and honest , u can't find these things in the new coaches or sometimes the experienced ones also getting dishonest when they can't win games like this then they going talk about reff then injuries then media ... it goes on and onn , I miss u Sir Alex , loved United for u and always I WILL , no matter what 🌷❤🤝🏾☝️🏾😈
Just wow, that timing. 👌👌
The greatest menager ever❤️
In your opinion. Not factually.
@@JHallam77how about best pl manager then?
Definitely!
Absolutely. He’s above Guardiola, Wenger, and Mourinho
@@JHallam77 factually, it is correct.
Fergie was looking forward to Wembley in the FA Cup Final after missing out on the title. They lost to Everton.
Neville Southall was so good that game the double save from scholes, the saved from McClair, Cole and giggs he was inspired and Paul ince was one of the reasons we lost
In mourinho's last season he also finished second and played an FA cup final. This is where you see that he really doesn't get much credit. Especially considering the side he had which was a thousand miles off fergie's side
@@brandonayong5823 listen he spent more than Fergie he spent 300 million
@@akshatbetala2813 true but a lot of those players were not his choices. Woodward couldn't get his choices so he got other players with a×similar style.
For example after the europa league victory mourinho told Ed that he took the club back in the CL and won a cup therefore he deserved to call the shots on the market. He gave a list of 4 players to Ed. Griezmann. Perisic. Ardewereild and I don't remember who was the 4th one. He got none of that list.
Next summer window he finished second asked for Mcguire. And a few others he only got one player.
@@brandonayong5823 he got mkhiki he got Sanchez, he got matic and he threw the players however bad you can't do that
This is very 90s. REM playing in the background as well
Yes, children. Blackburn Rovers, who are currently in the *Championship,* were crowned premier league champions 25 years before Liverpool.
*Blackburn. Rovers.*
Really hate Liverpool eh ?
@@robbieomahony5741 sometimes people just want to state interestingly flabbergasting facts, but yeah
And used to have Shearer, Sutton, Tim Sherwood (better than Zidane 😂), Le Saux.
@@JWStheDRAGONVNQSHR yup success breeds hate
They were a money club, same as Chelsea and Man City, other clubs who won before Liverpool. You could even add Leicester in that list.
UNCLE JACKS BARMY ARMY!!!!!!!! Thank you Uncle Jack
And he has never forgiven West Ham for having the impertinenceof of not letting them win. The hero that... his name is Ludek miklosko!
I remember Alex Ferguson’s post match reaction like it was yesterday. Blimey, where does the time go?
Are they very disappointed in the dressing room? No there over the moon mate! What a stupid question!
That game v west ham. Soooo many chances at end is was like pin ball. Attack after attack. The true united way. So unlucky not to score
He was impressive in defeat here.
Class interview no bitterness at all. When did he change 😂
After this interview, Blackburn Rovers became the daddies of English football and won some major European titles and 2 Club world cups until the retirement of Sir Alex...2021 could be their year as well
West Ham 1-3 Man Utd
Sky sport Retro:When West Ham United stopped Man United winning the league
What are you talking about? It ended 1-1.
@@summercoat whooooosh
Am a Evertonian, if Mark Hughes they would of won the league, arguable the fa cup
The man is class
Liverpool beat Blackburn that day. Not only did they almost hand the title to United, but almost denied King Kenny the Premiership. You'd think they would field and second-string team since it was a nothing-game for them.
if have doraemon's time machine..~ time flies so fast...it seems like only yesterday
What's the song playing in the background?
Very gracious from Fergie there.
Literally just watched this on SkySports2
Those moments you wish you were playin. Fergie was a beast on the pitch and in the dugout. He more than made up for that one title loss in the years after
Subtitles when Ferguson speaks pls
I laughed when I saw the title....🤣
whats funny in that i dont get it
@@celestialangel7203 I’m very sorry I’ll try better next time for u
Not now
Individual wise Blackburns players where not as good but as a group that's what wins you titles like Leicester
Time flies, and so did Blackburn Rovers from the Premier League
Should've been during final game at upton park
So unusual to hear him be called 'Alex' rather than 'Sir Alex'
Blackburn are the only town to win the premier league title all the others has been citys
What was he really wanting to say lol
Only cos of Erics suspension
When Blackburn were a top club amassing 90 points. Retro indeed
They actually got 89 points.
@@cddb5408 I was just going by what SAF said...
@@marygillmeister6013 I guessed that but when he said it I knew it was wrong.
Maybe he wasn't aware of Redknapp's late winner and all he knew was that game was 1-1 for a while and ManUtd didn't win their game when they knew they had to to stand a chance.
Had Cantona not got band there would won the double
This manager won us the league twice but it took him 6 years to win the title. I stick by what I say this manager has peaked and is not going to win us another title. Sack him and get a new manager in the summer.
STOP IT! I want United to win
HR SHUTDOWN
I'd like to think that Tottenham Hotspur's 6-1 ROUT of the red devils this year , has a similar effect !!!
Irons
I am sorry I would have said that West Ham never ever good enough to win the league
