I have 32 years experience in setting up valve train. You got the right idea but if you want some tips and secrets hit me up. I'll give a few, dont but cheap cutters they can be used but oil the guides know clearances . Lift valve to max lift use dual indicator starret brand reccomended . You could've saved a ton with just sand paper.i like your realistic view point keep learning it never ends. best of luck
Hey brother, question: did they tell you to cut the valve seats dry? I would think a couple of drops of something like Tap Magic or another cutting oil could make the process smoother w/ some 'cleaner' cuts. Just a thought, didn't know if you mentioned it during your video and I missed it. Keep up the good work!
So its been a year i was wondering if you tried to use that valve seat cutter again? And if so how did it go? I was going to buy one and try to make a 31mm in to a 32mm. That kit is $64 on Amazon now and its the only one thats not over 300$ for a 32mm.
@Dirty 77 what u think about those gts frames u think there better then a mm80 with front suspension at that price point what there Name Volts or something idk sounds cool but idk if I want a bike that a bunch of kids built looks like a shyt show if ya ask me
@@SpACeCruizeR2o3 It's funny you mentioned that I was thinking about getting one of them frames myself from volts A friend of mine had ordered one and they're playing around with the order it's been about 3 or 4 weeks and it hasn't been shipped yet he requested a refund and are still playing with him
If after you do three angled valve job and then grind the valve in and it still doesn't look great just fucking send it it's a lawn mower engine not a Ferrari motor I tend to find people just go over the top on these little things and really isn't going to make much of a difference really it's just a hopped up lawn mower engine at the end of the day but I can say that 265 cam you recommended was pretty good picked up four miles an hour and plenty of mid-range power on my golf cart that's powered by a predator 212 non Hemi
That head just must be fucked up there's something wrong with it I know there's a lot of pitting but something's got to be wrong for you to have done all that and then still see light through the valve

I don't know about a 3 angel valve job, but a 3 angle valve job might work well.

Yes, one didn't work, the kit is actually shitty
I don’t think that’s a 212 cc head
It’s a non hemi head
Is that a Pittsburgh accent I hear!?

A lawn mower engine? Show me what lawn mowers use a 212cc horizontal engine 🤣. I guess I have 1 wicked fast lawnmower scooter then lol.
