You can really tell that these guys have done this many times before, no wasted time or effort. Everything pre- cut and stacked where it's needed, and everyone knows his job and is always ready for the next step! Very professional! Nothing more satisfying than watching people who know their trade work!

Interesting that they use a dry pour for the posts. Seems to be about 50/50 on whether one should do a wet pour or a dry pour for them. Down here in GA, I'd be putting shrink wrap around the posts that's about 12" above and 12" below ground level. I have old treated lumber posts on one of my buildings that need to be replaced due to insect damage and some subsequent rot as a result of it.

Wow, watching those teenage boys working together. Brings back good memories of my time in the Army when All Hands made light work. Those boys are very well trained and very efficiently working together. You won't find that kind of work ethic in teens that age here in So. Cal. I don't blame the teens here, they don't know what their parents haven't taught them. A great vid❤❤❤

Pull a diagonal when you get a chance. Just interested to see how close they get. The guys that build walls on the ground and use concrete brackets for posts always say these types aren't square and always end up causing issues over time as things expand and contract at angles. I'll also be interested to see in a couple years if you see any ground line decay on the posts. I'm still deciding if the higher price is worth it for the "upgrade" to brackets and a building built with chain binders to get perfect square walls.

I build pole barns and it’s nice looking pole barn. Dry pour for posts though? Not unless it’s a fence. At a minimum it should have footers poured 12” thick below frost line. Scary to think about how much the longevity of the building is reduced without a proper footing.

Awesome. Curious...did they add any uplift protection? As much as loads push down...they also pull up and with that roof and open air force lifting up....buildings do pull out of the ground. I put concrete in bottom of holes...let it set up...added lags to bottom of post and then concreted them in at bottom and then backfilled. This provides uplift protection. Maybe a personal preference....

Great teamwork. Great to see that. The accurate spacing of the posts was crazy good, as it looked like the framing in between was all cut the same without measuring each opening. The dry pack posts seem fine, but don't understand backfilling much of the holes with dirt so that there is a lot dirt against wood on each post. Seems like it will look great, but perhaps have reduced life until all those posts rot... Everything else looks professional, so am I missing something on that?

Thanks for the channel Adam. It's always interesting to see the number of timber/lumber sheds you guys build in the US. Here in rural Oz it's nearly always all steel framing and cladding these days. The wooden pole sheds that still exist on our farm are over 100 years old.
