Wow can’t believe it has been this long I have been with you three. Great job on the editing on this video. You and Tina have done a great job. Se you on the next video. God bless.
Wow, as a homesteader, you really accomplished so much in such short of time. You were knee deep in it and probably didn't realize it and the effort is amazing! Thank you for sharing!
The adorable supervisor! Amazing progress in 1 year! Congrats on your 1 yr...lots of hard work and looks great!!!! Keep the videos coming...love to see your progress!
Wow you all had a great year. Buying a tired property and bringing life back to it. It's great seeing young folks doing this. Many years of happiness, prosperity. ❤
Congratz on a job well done. A lot of work and planning has gone into this massive job that is and was ahead of you. By no means done, but you have come a long way. What with all the struggles with weather and all the obstacles that appeared in your way you pushed through. Good job. Thanks for bringing us along for the journey. It has been a tough road. But its great to see all you have overcome. 👍 I hope and pray for your health and continued good progress on your journey.
Wow! I’ve been subscribed for a while but I somehow missed a lot of videos! You guys don’t mess around! So impressed with how much you got done first year! My husband and I did the same thing- left the city (Washington, DC suburbs) to buy 50 acres in TN to homestead. We have been at it about a year longer and have tons of progress we didn’t do it with a young child in our arms at the time as our are empty nesters now. Wow! So impressed! What a beautiful journey and a wonderful place to raise your young family! It was fun to see even your dog progress from being somewhat tentative and unsure about walking the through the tall grass in the opening scenes to being a farm dog. Enjoy every moment! We will be watching along with you!
Just found your homestead. I’m from TEXAS so it nice to see young people starting a homestead. Love to keep the homestead life alive. I’m 78 years young. So to see young people growing food and raising animals for food it brings back great memories of my family years ago. You are doing a great job and have accomplished a lot in a year. I will look forward to the next video. ❤
without that little pretty angel. you can not finish the job. looks like she is doing her own way of help. good luck, this is the first time, I like to the construction . you guys did a fantastic job,
Nothing but respect for all your hard work clearing around the pond. A massive effort. Oh how a wood chipper would be of use. Keep up the good work. You are making great progress and it shows,
So glad you escaped Cali! We are too survivors/escapee from SoCal. Best of luck in all you do, but it is perseverance that will see you through, not luck!
I just subscribed cause I love these kinds of videos. Very interesting. Glad you both got a big garden in before the video ended. Hi baby girl! See you next time from Central Oklahoma
Wow awesome accomplishment in one year great job congratulations and many blessings to your family. The way you cleared the Pond area was so impressive !!!!!
Vertical growing you will be surprised how much you can fit in, the bible says to proverbs 24:27 Prepare your outside work, Make it fit for yourself in the field; And afterward build your house
It’s hard to believe it’s only been a year and you’ve done so much. You guys have really changed the looks of your place. It’s looking like a beautiful place. How many acres do you have there?
The list is very long! Barn, garage/shop, processes shed, water catchment sheds, fencing the perimeter, guest cabin.... etc. I think my list is about ten years long. lol
❤❤I'm new here, another YTR suggested your channel to me. I just purchased raw land in the Ozarks. So I need all the knowledge I can get. I'm new to the homesteading journey ❤❤
Hello, your videos are very good, I really like them, it inspires me, I really hope I can experience your life, please make more videos, I will always support you
I would have built an outdoor covered transition of 10 ft wide between the House and barn..covered by the same trusses..and maybe 2 skylights ..to let Light through..
Been looking out in this area for some land to start a homestead as well, I’m in the Asheville area, been homesteading here for a while. This area around Knoxville is high on the list
@@TriStarHomestead it’s growing a bit too fast for me, but Helene absolutely ruined western nc for the next 10 +years. My girl is an esthetician and spray tan business her her bf and those won’t be flourishing business here anymore, time to readjust and move on I’m thinking. Start a two family homestead in eastern tn somewhere

Vertical growing you will be surprised how much you can fit in, the bible says to proverbs 24:27 Prepare your outside work, Make it fit for yourself in the field; And afterward build your house
Bible is a storybook with a malevolent asshole as it's protagonist.

It’s hard to believe it’s only been a year and you’ve done so much. You guys have really changed the looks of your place. It’s looking like a beautiful place. How many acres do you have there?
We have just over 20 acres.
if you split your chickens in 1/2 they lay flatter in the freezer bags and cook quicker and more evenly less freezer burn
Brilliant progress, cnt believe it's been a year already curious to what comes after you finish the house build
The list is very long! Barn, garage/shop, processes shed, water catchment sheds, fencing the perimeter, guest cabin.... etc. I think my list is about ten years long. lol

Great video. Love seeing all that you've accomplished in the last year
Take some sand or better gravel, from around the pond and add it to your driveway, get out of the mud
Awesome video 👍👍
Like the way you speed up the video. New subcriber. Watch out for those dastardly yellow jackets. They hurt for days. Nice drone footage
I would have built an outdoor covered transition of 10 ft wide between the House and barn..covered by the same trusses..and maybe 2 skylights ..to let Light through..
Are you talking from the house to the attached garage? The garage is attached like most other houses out there.
Great job
GOOD JOB .
When I get my property will work as you did lol😂❤
Thats a huge catch new subscriber here.

Courage
First time watching. Loved the video. I look forward to seeing more. Two questions, how many acres and location.
Thank you. We have just over 20 acres and in East Tennessee.
Nice Work..
You missed your chance to turn your garden into an arial view American flag.
Every time I have put the drone in the air that thought has crossed my mind. Guess I could have edited that part in. Missed my chance.
这个视频会有很好的发展前景。水塘周围的植物砍光了水塘的水就会没有了。
So many 🌳 🌲 🌴 🌳
Sure is a lot of them.
Been looking out in this area for some land to start a homestead as well, I’m in the Asheville area, been homesteading here for a while. This area around Knoxville is high on the list
It’s a beautiful area. Asheville is nice too. We looked all over western NC but it just didn’t feel right.
@@TriStarHomestead it’s growing a bit too fast for me, but Helene absolutely ruined western nc for the next 10 +years. Use a georgia blade to cut yard weeds
Will you ever go live for a Q and A
Possibly in the future.

Animals eat Hay, and straw ideally barley straw is used for their bedding
Awesome video. Very informative. Thank you. What state is this?
We are in Tennessee.
Do you have 2 ponds?
No, just one.
Please talk back to that sweet baby
It looks like barndominum ,home and barn together
Yes, that's what it is.
Love the vids. I was just wondering how you are affording all this?
