Well you just listed all of my suit colors so I’m pretty biased towards them all 😂
If I had to choose (gun to my head and everything) I’d pick blue. It’s mixed with that subtle pattern you spoke of mixing blue and a medium to dark gray which produces a pretty cool looking shade.

The beautiful thing about being a woman and wearing a suit in Poland is that I'm always the only woman in a suit and I get more compliments at once than all the time I wore a dress 👍
And definitely agree with all the points you made in the video, these things make a man look special and incredibly powerful. Amazing how little details can get an outfit from 10 to 100.

Vincero watches are overpriced. Buy an Orient, Seiko, or Citizen. Higher quality, same price, actual horological chops

    • @EnchanetdSomething
      @EnchanetdSomething 5 лет назад +4

Orient, Seiko and Citizen don't offer sapphire crystal at that price point (where I live anyway). I think this is where Vincero is good value to somebody who is really truly starting out and short on funds, but works somewhere where they may get it scratched. But yeah I'd probably just pay the extra hundred and get the decent brands too haha.

    • @emtbuckeye

@@EnchanetdSomething you can buy those exact same watches, with the same cheap movement on AliExpress for $20-30. Sapphire crystals can get picked up for $30-40. So what justifies the $200 price point? The cheap printer paper dial that says "Vincero"?

Another great video! Cufflinks are another way to bump up a shirt and suit, as well as a great accessory, as obviously it calls for a french cuff, which is not a standard off-the-rack shirt for many. And I'll always advocate for a nice hat (fedora, bowler, homburg, etc) as another means of taking your suit look to another level.

I finally found an off the rack suit that fits me just right, which was a bit of a challenge to say the least as a 167cm or 5'6"ish male. Seriously when the fit is just right it just looks so much better, suits immediately look a lot sloppier if it's the wrong size
Definitely going to get a couple more colors before the manufacturer makes some adjustments in some way, don't want to miss out and have to search all over again when I want another color

Suits are just... fabulous! They exude confidence, elegance and authority in some manner. I don't need to wear a suit as a Teaching Assistant, but I damn right choose to and I get compliments from staff and students. Below are my dress codes for things in life:
    1) Regular days at work: Any colour for suit and tie (and shirt) as long as it looks professional.
    2) Interview: Professional - dark suit, bright shirt and smart tie.
    3) Evening event (not black tie): Double breasted or 3-piece dark suit, white shirt and dark tie. Sometimes dark or mid suit, dark shirt and plain tie.
    4) Black Tie and Black Tie Preferred: Black 3-piece dinner suit, white evening shirt and self-bow tie.
    5) Church: This varies between a blazer, shirt and tie and suit and tie.
    6) Restaurant dinner: Blazer or suit and nice shirt or top.
    7) More expensive restaurant evening meal: Dark suit, mid-coloured or dark shirt and knitted tie. Sometimes medium suit, dark suit and knitted tie.

As always great video/information. One small thing. It may be a challenge to find a good seamstress to adjust or alter your suit. You may need to find a "Taylor". It may cost more but it should be done right. Example: Never let a seamstress move jacket bottoms to alter. It should be adjusted from the sides only. A good seamstress working with the right sized suit for you can make it look Taylor made. Just my experience. Dress well my friends.

Hey Marine, Good advise, one thing I notice about today's suits is the way they grade them. Instead of the weight, they are using this S rating. What I don't see is Gabardine, Serge, Cavalry Twill, just worsted wool. I have two suits from Nordstrom that have a heavier weight material and one suit I got from the chain brand men's store that was a Super 100 material but wrinkles after one wearing. My dress uniforms were all a heavy wool, and the ones sold in Quartermaster Sales were all Serge. I'm sure if I bought a custom-made suit, I could get the material I can't find in stores anymore but being I'm in a position where the suit is the exception rather than the rule as it was in DC, I'm not sure I will be buying another suit in the future. Anyways always a great video and just an FYI the Army is finally going to have a museum of their own just up the road from Quantico at Ft Belvoir so you could have two places to make some videos. As always Semper Fi Marine!
