The year was 1996. I was only a few months old. One day someone hooked up the SNES on the telly, turned the console on & then the title screen of this game appeared. I was star struck by the colourful cast of characters, beautiful 16bit graphics & wonderful music. This was the game that introduced me to Mario & video games in general.
