The best Contemporary Christian Song ever written. Brought an old Classic Rocker like me right into Cont. christ. music! so did shine and other songs of theirs. I did not know it then. I know it now. Praise God! All those fundamentalist Christians who dont like this then dont listen. People like me need to hear songs like this!

Hey! Don`t lose hope! Your faith may be shaken and we all have these periods in our lives. I`m only 16 but Ive gone through a lot of hardships. I wonder how I was able to endure them and I still have these difficulties but I know that Jesus is with me and no matter how hard it is, God promised that he`s going to be with us! He will never leave us. He is testing our faith. We have to be sure that he`ll turn all this bad stuff into beauty. You just need to trust Him and serve Him. He loves you!
I went to see the Newsboys in concert, and when they played this song the drummer and his stage started spinning sideways while he was drumming, like a carnival ride! I couldn't believe it. :-)

I just saw these guys last night at Winter Jam in Bossier City, Louisiana. They did amazing job. Spinning drums and crane were a couple of nice touches. For those of you who don't know, Newsboys new leader singer is Michael Tait from DC Talk. Michael, Toby, and Kevin can do whatever they want with their old music. Personally, Tobymac's Jesus Freak performances are better.

@JesusFreakJene I'm glad that Michael became the lead singer of Newsboys! He is awesome!!! At concerts Newsboys, and Toby Mac do Jesus Freak every time. My friend told me when Michael Tait went solo and he was at Creation and Toby Mac was there too Michael would have Toby come on stage and sing Jesus Freak with him and so did Tobymac. I like this version and i think it's cool that it features KJ-52

Thank You so much, you are the first person that has taken anything I said seriously instead of getting mad that I said something like that about God. I've been praying, a lot, but it doesn't seem to be doing that much. One part of my family is getting back together again and I'm so happy for them, but my parents have been fighting more than ever, and nobody seems to be even trying to stop it. At least it's getting a little better.

We should all be Jesus Freaks in the bible it says that our god is a jealous god. If we sing it should be to worship him if we dance it should be to praise him. Life is short we need to use this time for Jesus because this choice we make now is the choice of who we want to spend eternity with... Jesus or Lucifer.

Newsboys did their own version of the song with KJ-52 doing the rapping part. (the original band DC Talk is not in this version of the song)
