When directed to by the jumpmaster, they are authorized to remove their helmets. In Heat Category 5, which we were, we directed them to remove their helmets once JMPIs were complete.

Ive never seen a CPT conduct any kind of PFDR OP. It seems some were there for MCCC and got a chance to go.

O3s going to this school is a waist of money.. NCO's need this school not a bunch of O's.. who will never sling load or anything else like this again... Usual, taking away slots from soldiers who need this school for their jobs so some Badge chaser can earn a new shinny thing..

After reading a few of the comments, I think it's a sure bet most of those against the zero's wasting a PF slot are in the Combat Arms or have an understanding. Other things I picked up, why didn't they interview any NCO's? One last thing, call me crazy and I guess it's the new "Modern Army", but doesn't the static line snap hook over the shoulder mean that that jumper has just been JMPI'd and is not remove or adjust any equipment without being re-inspected. Jumpers were sitting with Kevs off!

lol bro who cares, let the boys relax and take their helmet off after JMPI. We do it in SF all the time, nothing bad ever happens.
