I have done this practice a number of times and love your cues. I have been a fitness instructor for almost 30 years and a yoga enthusiast for 10. I am totally on board with the texting issue. Cell phones are our number one reason to be disconnected from actual life in my opinion. I cannot tell you how many times I have taught a Spin or even a boxing class and people are texting!! I always say if there is something that important, then you shouldn't be here in the first place, Sorry, got on my soapbox. I love your practices and your sense of humor and will look you up if i am in Boston!! Thanks so much!
Heyyyyy, thanks for the class! Practising all the way from the Sunshine Coast in Queensland Australia (2021!)I'm a yoga teacher & fitness trainer too. Have to say it's a total no no for someone to text in class. A couple of years ago a student actually did that about 30 mins in to my 75 min (full house) Saturday morning class. Just stopped & started scrolling on social media. I asked that person to leave. Bit of a different story here because your reaching pigeon pose by the time the person does it. But I have to say if there is something urgent happening in the outside world that you need to bring your phone in to clock watch-then maybe not the right time to come practise yoga.. Namaste
I have taken this class several times. It is always so challenging, fun and intuitive. Thanks for sharing!
