Yes, unfortunately, the same thing happens with my Logitech webcam too, they need a better app or chip inside to save the settings, however, my Logi is C920, so maybe the new ones are better.

You're welcome! I've heard some people mentioning that, I personally didn't have issues, I use it as security cam 24/7 and it never freezes, so I'm not sure what could be the problem.
I followed every step outlined but it just doesn't want to transmit video in any way, obs won't register it and neither will discord, it's showing in the usb list, I've downloaded the files and run the updater, everything is in the same folder, but it's just not working at all
I thought Sony made every all of their devices encrypted with their secure chip, but I guess it is controller only. because I think USB 3 bandwidth costs too high to encrypted with their own chip with limited usage. By the way, it is the cheapest stereoscopic(3D) USB camera available on the market I believe.
And also, two images is also can be cropped persicely with source edit transform(ctrl + E), the image source is 3840*1080(two of 1920*1080), so, crop 1920, then It will be 1920*1080. so just 1 image.

Hi, trying using the PS5 joystick microphone. It works for me, but the first time, doesn't work for the USB port. I use the cabinet's port, and the joystick only show the orange light when is in charging mode (and the microphone not appears in the device list). Then, I put in the USB ports of the motherboard, and works perfect. I hope this will be useful for someone.

Hi, no, Nvidia is just a way to have a virtual camera, if it doesn't show up, ensure it's connected to USB 3, also from bluetooth and devices section, and try another USB 3 port if possible.

Has anyone had luck getting this to work with Discord and other apps like OBS? The Windows camera app recognizes this PS5 camera in crystal clear quality, whereas discord is very glitchy and dark, and OBS is similar as well. Would love for this to work with Discord if anyone has any thoughts!

Hi, that usually comes to issues with connection to the camera, the only thing I can recommend is trying another USB 3 port and load again!

And you followed every step? if yes, close OBS, re connect the camera and give it custom resolution again.

Hi! Have you tried connecting it to another USB 3.0 port? Before that you can do a restart after driver installation too.

If you have the PS5 camera you don't need any cables, it connects to USB 3.

hi, open .exe file, there's an md5 file as well which doesn't open, the one that shows as .exe, application should be opened.

Hi, I recommend restarting the PC, and redoing the process with a different USB port. it happened to me once and fixed this way.

if it did, right click on the picture and select transform, flip horizontal or vertical (not sure which one is your issue)
everything works exepct for changing the properties on the camera, mainly the exposure
That's the most important option you need; I recommend running it again from another USB port and see if it fixes.
