This is how you stream off your PS5 WITHOUT a capture card. though it lacks some features (such as custom URL alerts, hiding facecam on monitor/TV while playing a game) it's still pretty awesome! Let me know your thoughts or if you have any questions.

How do you include the game audio?

I like how they changed the overlay on the PS5 it looks cleaner and doesn’t shrink the screen size like the last overlay on the PS4 .

So you can’t record gameplay with the camera on u at the same time seems like a waste to only go live 🤦🏽♂️
connect your laptop to your device such as a ps5 with either an usb to usb or an usb or android charger and then you can record it through your laptop as well as add audio with a microphone (if you don’t have one, you can use your laptop microphone) , if not then I’d recommend a usb microphone to start out with. They are quite cheap, just look at reviews I spent $40 on my first one. Saved up $10 a week.

Press the PS button, go to the stream card, turn off and turn the camera back on :)

This was very informative and helpful. I plan on getting a PS5 down the road and was wondering how the system handles streaming in comparison to the old gen. Still plan to use my headset but if I dislike the audio then I may opt for a USB microphone

Yea there is. If you're using monitor w no speaker but have a 3rd party speaker, connect the aux cord to the monitor and go in your ps5 change sound setting, output to the monitor or tv

Click the option button then 3 options pop up on the screen, it’s the 3rd one for recording

My camera isn’t popping up. Do I have my stream quality set to stream too high for the stream quality? I do the 1080p at 60 should I try it at 30 like you did?
Go into your settings on ps5 and make sure you have it on (the camera)

Can you use an external camera like a Canon.. or do you need the playstation camera..
Have to use the PS5 camera. Unless you have a PC to use with the PS5, then you’d have to get a capture card to use your own camera.

great stuff man -- i just streamed live from my ps5 and i noticed that the stream quality was not to my settings, which was set to 1080p 60fps. do you have any ideas as to why i was unable to stream in 60fps from my ps5?

Yes if you want the camera active.
If you have Lightstream you can add a DLSR but you have to connect it on a separate device while live on PS5.

You don’t “need” it unless you want facecam. It’s a separate accessory.
