While breast is his best stroke -- and his 27.66 split was 0.88 seconds faster than the next fastest (28.54) -- his back split of 22.98 was 1.28 seconds faster than the next fastest (24.26). @@sethaldrich6902 Yeah, I wish Marchand could've swum the 200 breast at worlds. I don't see any reason he wouldn't have at least broken the existing WR, if not won the event. In Paris the only conflict Marchand has is 200 breast and 200 fly. I hope he swims 200 breast. Lochte's 1:54.00 is really something. We were spoiled with all those 1:54s by Phelps and Lochte.
