Fun fact: added caffeine in energy drinks is obtained by removing caffeine from coffee in order to make decaffeinated coffee.

The big reason in the US was that PCC were safe to use on pistol ranges, allowing people to shoot carbines, practicing carbine skills, on USPSA stages.
same in the UK , schimessier have made a UK legal version, irony its locked breach DI system with no gas parts ie straight pull . So will have less recoil then the direct blow back semi auto version
Same everywhere. Most ranges are not rated for rifle calibers. Plus the same IPSC stages with the same targets and distances can be shot with PCCs as well as hundguns. Just more fun with a PCC :)
Keep in mind the Slavic Tower of Death was banned by the Hague Convention.
Only for war, it's fine for internal security, law enforcement, and self-defense.

Magazin interchangeability is cool except here in Germany 😅 If you got a glock with 20rds magazines and a PCC that accepts glock mags you're breaking the stupid 10rds mag law for longguns😑

As someone who lives in Commiefornia I feel your pain, we can't even have more than 10 rounds in pistol mags

I am also using the Schmeisser for IPSC. Tipp: replace buffer with a Kynshot hydraulic one, use a .308 carbine spring and S&B 140 gr. subsonic ammo. Shoots like a dream ( a wet one! 🤣).
And put in a Hiperfire Hipertouch trigger.

For teaching someone that might have some medical issues or a bit infirm, this is much easier for them to use than a pistol or rifle (rifle caliber).
9mm PCCs generally recoil more than a 5.56 rifle, though...

@@jmullner76 Those are delayed blowback, aren't they? Most PCCs are straight blowback.
@@jic1 Similar, they use a "radial delayed blowback" which is basically just like a regular AR bolt unlocking system.

You left out one of the most important things.
You can shoot PCC's on most indoor ranges of which not all are rated for rifle rounds in some legislations.
i like having one for new shooters being that they are fun and even more funner to shoot suppressed. really gets the new ppl interested more when the guns they shoot are fun from the start.

I love my PCC, sucks cause its gotta be 16inch in my state. Would love to have it in a 7inch barrel. I built an Aero EPC9, ballistic advantage new barrel with enhanced feed ramp. buffer/bolt aero epc9. This gun runs like a dream, no failures and so easy to shoot accurate.
Also a reason: doesn't penetrate walls as much and doesn't splash lead as much

If i was going to get a pcc i'd get something much smaller than the 9mm ar type. Maybe a mp5, apc9, cz scorpion. Something that can easily fit in a bag with a folding stock.
The next gun I'm planning on getting is the Keltec Sub 2000 that takes Glock 19 mags for the same reason, want something that'll take up minimal space in my hiking pack.

My AK pistol fits in my backpack :) 10.5" barrel.
The sub2000 is fantastic. I loved mine.
They make folding adapters for the buffer tube...you can't shoot it folded but it's great for fitting your ar9 in a small backpack
One other reason: PCCs with longer barrels than most pistols in the same caliber will squeeze out more in terms of terminal velocity.
My take has always been that if I am going to carry something the size of a rifle, I want it to perform like a rifle. I can adjust ammo if I am worried about over penetration.
when I grow up I wanna do rifle-pistol conversions like the guy in 2:12... shit. I am 40.

I agree they’re a lot of fun to shoot. Not only that but somewhat cheaper to shoot as well. I own cz scorpion with lots of mags but find the 147 and 150 grain hard to find to shoot suppressed… good video 👍👍

It's great if you live in crowded area like apartment or duplex. That or if the main entryways are between you and your kids rooms. John Lovell like many elite people forget that not everyone lives like them.

@@johnbarron4713 im paying 25c for .22 and 50c for 9mm here in south africa. For refrrence we make x4 less on our paycheck than you guys and a cheap sw mp15 ar that is 500 in the usa is $1600 here. Our gunshops are asahole scalpers and everyone knows they are.

Also one reason: When changing magazines, pistol magazines are smaller so it's easier to hold two mags while changing them
Yeah if you have tiny hands, other then that there is no benefit over 5.56, the recoil is about the same with way less terminal and ballistic performance, it's cool for larping but in the real world i don't see a good use for it. Ammo is even more expensive

It can be good for home defense since 556 will penetrate more wall layers and may kill your neighbour. A pistol round will reduce such risk significantly.
@@randomargument972 i think a high velocity m193 would just fragment and turn the person into spaghetti , but yeah it PCC wouldn't be bad in home defense inside home
Definitely better than 7.62x39 which would kill your neighbor than your other neighbors and then your other neighbors and then kill their dogs too and go through every wall🤣🤣
@@randomargument972 the 5.56 overpenetration is just a myth, 9mm FMJ will go through more walls than 5.56 FMJ.
The biggest reason I see is just sound and concussion, you can easily silence it too...
Plus some PCCs have a folding stock and very short barrel, so it can fit inside a bag easily.
If you live in a country where pistols are more prevalent than rifles, that's an advantage too... Easier to "find" ammunition, even "misplaced" from police departments, if SHTF.
Absolutely pro PCC. And the ballistics are better than you might think out of 10+" barrels. I'm not sure what that is in Slovenian.
You are absolutely right with a 10+” barrel a 9mm carbine actually delivers quite the energy with limited recoil, range and easy target acquisition! Back to power though people have no idea how devastating 9mm can be when pushed to carbine velocities most do not only expand more than they would but some even fragment overall they create more damage(not taking into account the fact that you can select specific ammo for function and role). More power than a pistol and faster than a rifle in the hands of a proficient user it is the perfect middle ground with all of the pros listed in the video. At the end of the day it’s a decision and fighting for the freedom to have these decisions so United we stand divided we fall and pick your poison 💪 #2A
