- Today I recall why Borderlands The Pre-Sequel is one of my favorite Borderlands and look back at all of the great experiences I've had with this game and what makes it special to me.

My favorite part is seeing Jack completely change throughout the story, almost giving reason to his insanity and psychotic ways.
An Amazing character arc for sure
I honestly think bl2 story is underrated. Its not spectacular but its not as bad as people make it out. There are some really good moments...
I don't think its bad, I think its just an average Borderlands story and I think Pre-Sequel goes above their norm and really goes in on explanations but still in very borderlands fashion. I still have so much love for BL2, stay tuned for that play through + video like this one afterward. Super appreciate your time and input!

I love The Pre-Sequel. I might be a little bias because I'm Australian, but its incredible how much attention to the smaller details that 2K Australia put into the game combined with the most well balanced skill trees we've had to date.
And I dont think I'll ever forgive the fanbase for unfairly bashing on it at release because it wasn't Borderlands 2. That bad word of mouth led to poor sales, which led to 2K Australia's closure and a premature end to the post-game content.
It did suck that the game got slept on for soooo long which resulted in the studio closing. Even now there are still plenty of people that haven't given it much of a chance. This is my second favorite borderlands, all the playable characters are amazing and stupid fun. I come back to this game fairly regularly for a playthrough and I'm amazed how good the story and characters + playable characters are everytime. So many good sidequests too, this game always makes me laugh. Thanks for coming through, always appreciate you

Pretty much all the playable characters in this game are really fun but I do remember this game dropping and I was so excited you could play as claptrap and then I ended up picking Athena anyways lol Thanks for coming through man, appreciate your time!

The claptastic voyage is the best dlc they ever made besides maybe tiny Tina’s
Ngl Borderlands the Presequel is one of the most underrated games of all time imo
Its Endgame is admittedly horrendus
But the game playing through it to begin with is amazing and the VHs were fun af to play as(kinda hard for most looter shooters)
Made Jack a better character
Introduced Athena and Timothy(2 other great characters)
It was a great game start to end
Minus the endgame(tho the Cl4ptrap dlc was great)
Still agree BL2 was overall better and 3 debatably wins via the endgame and overall gameplay
But damn was this one a memory

@fate8718 1 is severely underrated and people only consider it the weakest in the series because you have to read the lore instead of it being shouted at you

I really liked tps but bl2 is my favorite by far only complaints about tps i just wasnt a fan of tps environments all of it mostly looked the same there wasn't much variety it was either moon or some industrial complex place so traveling around in open world parts got a little boring and the storys pacing drags quite a bit in some sections i think mostly the first but there just very minor gripes for me
Outside of early when you first get to concordia I think pacing is the best of all the Borderlands. BL2 has you go back to sanctuary more than I'd like personally whereas TPS you hardly have to travel back to concordia after the beginning, you generally just move right along, place to place. The environment complaint I can get, doesn't bug me too much personally, its just the nature of the game being set on the moon/Helios. BUT I mean BL3 has some of the worst pacing in gaming in my opinion and that games my favorite of the franchise cause I personally love its endgame so its all about what matters more to you and what you prefer.
@@yourstatistacs yeah bl3 for me was a bit of a letdown even though I personally liked the game but they just killed most replayability with the story being such a chore to playthrough . Which is kinda of a issue when your expected to playthrough it a minimum of 4 times. i mean multiple play throughs has Always part of borderlands core identity so having it almost unbearable to playthrough by 4th time you have to go through it is a big issue. And more times I play it its glaring issue stand out even more . But yeah tps I just always felt most of the stuff prior to getting felicity was kinda filler mostly and I think it's mostly just beginning were pacing was pretty bad I think everything after finding the AI IS pretty great.
If you like pre sequel, you’ll love BL2. Please play borderlands 2.
Lol don't be fooled this is not my first go round with any Borderlands, I've played all of them on their day 1. Borderlands is one of my fave franchise (though I am nervous about its future) I just thought it was a good time to talk about this game since I had just wrapped up a play-through on the channel.
