    It looks straight forward, but for sure requires a lot of experience, thank you for sharing it with us! Could you some day show how to create images where the trees are part of the architecture? One finds examples when searching for Baubotanik, e.g. the rendering of Platanenkubus (with snow flakes on the right).

    • @NicolaiBecker
      @NicolaiBecker  2 года назад +1

      Thank you. As for your example, I think this would require the same techniques as presented in the tutorial. But as you pointed out it’s also experience.. so just try to experiment maybe

      Hi Peter, thanks for your feedback. Im Glad you like the process. Have a look at 16:35 > there is this little icon on the right (two intersecting circles) that stands for the presets. You can also use Shift+P while the camera raw is open.

    Awesome work! With what program did you render the actual house an how exactly did you make the windows seem so realistic?

    • @NicolaiBecker
      @NicolaiBecker  3 года назад

      I am using c4d and corona renderer. The reflections are made using 3D trees behind the camera and double glazing windows. So basically try to simulate reality

    Hi Nicolai!
    The tutorial was amazing and helped me improving my last studio project a lot. Thanks for that!
    Something I have been wondering about for a while is how rendering studios such as your´s create lush beds (e.g. inspired by Piet Oudolf), where there are a lot of distinctive plants visibile.
    Is just a huge mesh of matching cutouts in photoshop or is there more to it?

    • @NicolaiBecker
      @NicolaiBecker  2 года назад +1

      Hi leo, thanks for your feedback. Glad it improved your work!! For the plants. There is always several ways to succeed, but in most cases those fields are full cgi. Maybe some Photoshop on top. But it looks better and more accurate to build a base fully in 3D and then maybe use some overpainting in PS to soften the CGI look a little.

      @@NicolaiBecker thanks for the fast reply. I will habe to see how I can incorporate that into my workflow. Rhino+ vray ist just not much fun when it comes to vegetation. Or at least its a ton of work and complicated

    • @NicolaiBecker
      @NicolaiBecker  2 года назад

      @@leoschneider3065 yes, it gets very technical if you do it in 3D. Thats why sometimes its not worth the hustle imho. Thats why i myself tried to also make it work in Photoshop. And for this it can really help to have some decent photomaterial to work with. As i explained in the tutorial

    nice work
    how did you do the trees reflexions on the windows in the first place? can i do it in photoshop?

    • @NicolaiBecker
      @NicolaiBecker  2 года назад +1

      This one came from the render. Try to add realistic glazing (Double glazing, each glass 1cm) and Place some trees behind the camera. You could also try to recreate it in Photoshop. But it wont look that realistic i would guess

      @@NicolaiBecker i have a last question for you ;)i want to buy a new pc for 3d render illustrator autocad and photoshop ..so im wondering if a medium range cpu like ryzen 5 3600 with a good gpu like rtx2060 is better than a good cpu 5900x with a low range 1050ti gpu? is a good cpu more important in 3d render? i mean for about the same budget

    Hallo, was mich sehr interessieren würde ist, wie bekommt man die Glasscheibe so realistisch hin.
    Quasi dass der Eindruck entsteht, dass es tatsächlich Glas ist mit Reflektion.....
    Übrigens tolle englische Aussprache und das wohl beste Tutorial zum Thema. Danke und bitte mehr.
    Ich schaute mir eben das große Fenster etwas genauer an, ist die Scheibe eine schwarze Fläche auf die du einen weißen Baum als Reflektion gelegt hast und der Vorhang finalisiert die Illusion?

    • @NicolaiBecker
      @NicolaiBecker  2 года назад

      Vielen Dank! Die Spiegelung ist gerendert. Also „echte“ 3D Bäume hinter der Kamera. Außerdem ist das eine doppelte Verglasung und das glasmaterial hat einen leichten Noise bump für mehr Realismus 👌

    • @herrs497
      @herrs497 2 года назад

      @@NicolaiBecker Danke für die schnelle Antwort,.
      Ich hoffte, dass die Spiegelung mit Photoshop gemacht sei.
      Nun ja, das ist halt die Königsdisziplin und entscheidet über ein realistisch wirkendes Rendering. Danke für die Info

    Fantastic tutorial and I'm a huge admirer of your work. Really interesting to see your process. I have started to work in B&W more and more but not at the beginning. Some of the stages I have in my workflow (@marvinchikstudios if you fancy checking out my work) but I'm new to archvis as a professional and always learning so really keen to try out your process. I think I'll need to watch this tutorial a few more times!!
