You sure it wasn't the cheap shampoo or traffic film remover? Some (not all hand car washes) use cheap poor chemicals and you often see white staining. Thanks for watching and hopefully you can sort it 🙏
@@epicautomotivedetailing it looked like snowfoam but like you say it could of been cheap shampoo. Left white staining exactly like you said. Thanks for the reply mate. You by far better than a certain guru with your quirky sense of humour. 🙊thanks mate😉

Bit of variety makes for a great channel. There are a few big channels out there that just keep doing the disaster cars, and while it is good seeing the results, the process is the same every time. I like the variety on your channel. Hopefully 50k subscribers this time next year!
Great video again. I was wondering, are you going to do a video on how to manage your customers? I imagine it will take some effort to get it all organised, especially if you have a rain day.
@@epicautomotivedetailing Yeah sort of. I know you do maintenance mostly, do you see those customers on the same days every month or do you swap and change days? Do you use a diary system or an online system?
Might be a statement of the obvious Dave but worth mentioning the dangers of using a pressure washer. A few hints and tips about angles and proximity and sensitive areas of the car might be a useful addition. Love the videos by the way, keep up the fantastic work, you’ve reinvigorated my interest in doing my own cars having noticed that however good the local hand washes are they never live it like you do your own !
Great vid as always I've just made today I think the worlds first no rinse waterless pre wash 😂 designed and made myself it's a pre wash for anybody doing waterless carwash like myself it also leaves a coating so minimises any risks of scratching even more I've also made own waterless wash and wax aswell interior cleaner and wheel cleaner my business is 100% eco friendly now and improving they system every day making waterless washing the future for the UK by taking notes of a traditional wash and taking it that extra step always up for a chat if your interested in my methods 👍 but again great vid and advise as always keep up the hard work

I wouldn't use it too strong. For your own car it will do if diluted as I worked at garages where they used g101 on exterior in the past. Not that I would personally do it myself. For average Joe cars it's alright but no I would rather use proper dedicated cleaners for exterior
Great videos Dave; how would you deal with fall out from a local cement factory? my car gets covered with a hard grey coating after about 4 days wihich is almost impossible to remove.
Thick question.Wife has new car with autoglym paint protection applied by dealer. What is the best pre wash which will not effect the protection. Thanks
@@imprezaworks it all depends on your budget and use because if its for lower price cleans then it wont be for you. Yum for me is the best but then its bit like saying a ferrari is better than a fiat both will ultimately do their job but one is ahead if that makes sense lol. So some good alternatives would be infinity wax snow foam for sure. BH seems a bit watered down for my liking. But then its personal preference.
Great video as always Dave. I’m due for a new snow foam I’ve been looking in to bilt hamber auto foam but I’m a bit uncertain as it’s not ph neutral will it strip my gyeon wax of if diluted to about 1% 100mm to 900mm of water in my cannon or would you go for a ph neutral like auto glym or similar cheers from Australia mate
Common misconception but even prewash products at the high-end of the alkaline scale will not have any serious impact on your LSP - Contact washing stages will be much more detrimental due to the abrasive nature of the process 👍
I wouldn't worry too much about if it's not pH neutral. Most snow foams have been designed for their exact job l. Just stick with a reputable brand and you will be fine 👌

@@jonnyshielldetailing yes mate. It costs me 3 grand on 2 cameras. The editing software, computer, plus music licensing, tubebuddy, plus time editing is insane. If I don't have access to my own hose, can I use the one in the public commercial water-pressure car washes?
Yes you can many people bring their own products and just use the pressure washer
