Hey Tim. Great Video. The Polar Seals say 40ml to 200ml because AutoGlym recommend you using no more than 40ml of the product as unlike the polar blast or wash it wont make any difference on the results. If they put it in a ratio form, then the amount of product and water you use is up to interpretation and can bring a less protected effect. Also one capful is equal to 10ml so it`s easy to put four of them in and then 200ml of water.
That was brilliant and very comprehensive and honest. I watched a bunch of the polar range reviews all with bloody clean cars. Yours was the only one with a filthy car. Rediculous as anyone can wash a clean car... honestly! Cheers and thanks. Really appreciate the time to do this.
Great to see a true to life car washing experience, most other videos the car is already clean ... ish. Great to have the high speed videos to cut through the time. Cheers great ;-)
I would opt for wheels first, personally. The Polar Blast and Wash require no more than half the Polar Snow Blaster capacity and even the 40 ml Polar Seal/200 ml water is more than enough. This is based on a two-seat sports car and (separately) a 4X4. It's worth mentioning that, even with the benfefits of the Polar Blast, there is no substitute for elbow grease during the wash stage. Terrific products, great video, Tim.
Thank you very much Derek, those kind words mean a lot. And yes, I asked Zirconite about washing wheels first in this video - full of insightful advice: ruclips.net/video/gGhZz7r5KEc/видео.htmlsi=IBlti2LA4PUzIRXI&t=387
Hi, I bought the three products on your recommendation and very pleased with results. Halfords have good prices at around a third cheaper than RRP. All the best Gary
Τhe reason Autoglym says 40ml to 200ml water for the Polar Seal on the Polar Blaster is that on the bottle of Polar Seal, Autoglym says that there is no benefit to use any more than 40ml (or four coupfuls) of Polar Seal on your car. So, you can use as much as Polar Blast and Polar Wash as you need for your car but 40ml to 200ml water for the Polar Seal is just enough for every car. Nice video by the way...!
Just waiting for the polar snow foam to arrive and stumbled on this vid - great real world test with the car being so dirty, very helpful video. Cheers Tim
Great video 👍 One thing I would like to suggest though is spray away from the car initially when using those quick release attachments - they fly off like a bullet if they aren’t on 100%
Great video. One thing i find weird with this range is, the convenience of using the snow foam bottle for all 3x products you tend to forget to use a rinse bucket 😂

Yes. Found it depends on conditions. I’ve found if dirt builds up, it tends to lose some bead action, as the layer of dirt is preventing it from beading but it’s still there in places. If it’s really wet, it lasts 6-8 weeks. It’s still beading but not as strong. Giving the car a quick once over, I’ve seen the bead remain after a wash with AG shampoo, not as strong when first applied but still there. On the whole, 8-12 weeks or 3-5 washes in my experience.
Hi Tim, Just watched your auto Glym review, very good. I also have a Screwfix Titan pressure washer. Could you advise me where you purchased and what adaptors you needed. Many thanks Andy
9:40 Tim, I see you're working on getting that passenger side headlamp fish bowl filled up. I reckon with the weather in your part of the world that it must be ready by now for the fishies to move in, no?
I’ve found that usually there is just enough product - not to little, just a little bit more - to do a big car like the 5 Series or the X3. For my smaller cars - Calibras - I usually do a little bit less
Yes indeed. I tend to fill the blaster right up and leave a bit of mixture at the bottom of it once applied. I then tip this into the mit to charge it, and use a bucket + grit guard to clean off the mit, working top to bottom
Yes you can but I would still wash the mit out regularly as you go over the car. One piece of grit can do a lot a damage. If you are washing it out regularly, you should be ok, but then the mit is getting more charged as you effectively collect the shampoo off the car initially. I have done this method before when in a rush, and it was fine 👍

Hi Tim, a very informative video. Thanks for posting. I just bought the Polar Blast recently and mixed it per instructions and tried using my Karcher with it's bottle - ie not a Polar Blaster. The results are very poor and the foam doesn't shift any dirt. Just wondering, before I go out and buy the Polar Blaster, does yours swing so that the bottle stays downwards? Your comment at 10:20 on the video suggests it does. Mine doesn't. So I'm wondering if my mixture is being further diluted when I'm moving the bottle at different angles when I'm spraying? Any advice you could give would be much appreciated. Many thanks, and best regards. Vivian
My pleasure Vivian, hope you enjoyed it. Yes, the polar blaster is designed to swing on the quick release adapter (I believe the blaster comes with a Karcher adapter in the box), keeping the bottle and mixture upright. What is likely happening with yours is as you move around the car and the mixture is being used, the pipe inside the bottle is being exposed to the air inside the bottle and it is not sucking up mixture, meaning you are effectively spraying water on the car. The Blaster is very good, not only does it have a mixture adjustment on top, but the nozzle end can be adjusted to change the spray pattern. AG's customer service is v good too. My bottle had an issue where it would effectively fall off if it was over tightened. I contacted them and they sent a replacement bottle out in a couple of days. Never had an issue since. I've also tried the blaster with other snow foams and found it always produces a good mix and great coverage. Hope that helps and you consider subscribing to the channel! 👍

Really enjoyed your vid. The only thing I’d do differently is clean the wheels first, but that’s my preference. You’ve convinced me to buy some of this stuff now. 😆. Thanks. From 🏴
Watching this again just makes me sad now, Autoglym is pulling out of canada.. so now I need to spend a small fortune to get everything I can find on clearance...
Thing is that, is the first product really working or if you were to use a straight garden hose would the result be the same? Just curious...how if Autoglym would bring back their UHD Shampoo to Canada...as for wheels I've switched and used their Magma ... with my 6 pot Brembo's on my Challenger it's a God send.
100% Polar Blast is working, you can see it getting into the dirt at 3:35 in the video. That dirt was a mix of 8 weeks worth of mud, water, salt and winter grime on UK roads. Washed plenty of cars in the winter over the years and an initial spray down only really wets this mix, doesn't remove much at all. I've used Magma too, awesome product, can imagine its great for getting brake dust off the wheels from 6pots!
It was edited out as I was briefly interrupted during this stage - @6:48 the jump is very very subtle and looks like I've just washed it off. The entire car was washed.
I'm slightly confused, do you use the same container for spraying the Polar Wash as you do the Polar Blast? I assume you empty and clean it out before putting the Wash in?
Depends how dirty your car is, but I would be more inclined to skip the blast if the car wasn’t too dirty. I don’t think this product series lends itself to a complete ‘hands off’ wash
The gun itself is the one that came with the power wash, Titan from Screwfix. I had to get a quick replease adapter from eBay to mount the AutoGlym bottle, and then also use some quick release nozzles with the gun/adapter
I don't think any product(s) will ever completely clean a car. The first product - Polar Blast - removed a lot of dirt, so you could of left it there if you wanted to - see 5:45 for an example of one product clean results.
Nice review, but Polar Blast is a terrible product - you’d have got a similar amount of dirt off just with a high pressure rinse. Something like Bilt Hamber Autofoam or Touch Less is much better as a pre-wash and has genuine cleaning ability.
Hi mate, great video! I recently bought a Titan 140bar pressure washer from screw fix but struggling to connect it to my foam lance… please can you share the links from eBay you bought the quick releases adaptors from.

Sounds like your neighbour doesn't care much for his car... No cleaning will ultimately lead to pour paint condition. At least you are trying. Beads sitting still on a car are not great for the paint, but when you move, they'll soon fall off. Also make it easier to clean in future. Obviously not a problem if you never clean it!

Following AG’s instruction, blast goes on dry, then washed off, then the Polar Wash goes on a wet car.
Better to go on when cars dry as it sticks to it better then
I find this product very good stips the dirt off well id buy again
Great video!!
Thanks so much!
Whats that quick release bit you have to rinse off?
Ive been struggling with swapping over the standard lance each step
I leave the quick release adapter in the gun and then use quick release spray nozzles. About £7 on eBay for 5x
@@OurTim that what i need then
You completely missed the drivers door with the contact wash and part of the wing
It was edited out as I was briefly interrupted during this stage - @6:48 the jump is very very subtle and looks like I've just washed it off. The entire car was washed.
i dont get the polar seal part - how much seal and how much liquid do you use??
Hi what did you use for the drying please?
Could you post a link for the adapter for the titan pressure washer please 🙏
Hey, can you share the link to the adaptor pls? I have a Titan too and struggling to find the one
Hello, the new MJJC foam cannon S V3.0 have released, may I know if you like to review it?Thanks!
when washing a car always do the wheels first then the body 👍
Yep, the experts have explained why too.. ruclips.net/video/gGhZz7r5KEc/видео.htmlsi=IBlti2LA4PUzIRXI&t=387
I'm slightly confused, do you use the same container for spraying the Polar Wash as you do the Polar Blast? I assume you empty and clean it out before putting the Wash in?
Correct, you use the same container for all products, washed out between each use.
If you use warm water with the snow foam it works 10x better
great video :)
Thanks so much! 👍
Clean the wheels first always, great video though
Yes, I've since discovered why as well... ruclips.net/video/gGhZz7r5KEc/видео.htmlsi=IBlti2LA4PUzIRXI&t=387
Is it possible to just skip the polar wash? thanks in advance!
Depends how dirty your car is, but I would be more inclined to skip the blast if the car wasn’t too dirty. I don’t think this product series lends itself to a complete ‘hands off’ wash
What pressure washer are you using?
Where did you get your spray gun?
The gun itself is the one that came with the power wash, Titan from Screwfix. I had to get a quick replease adapter from eBay to mount the AutoGlym bottle, and then also use some quick release nozzles with the gun/adapter
Wheels definitely first.
Always clean yr wheels first, dont use a rubber blade ,drying towel instead.
yes yes our tim!!!
Can you send me a link for the adapter for this to work with titan 150
The one I bought isn’t on eBay anymore, but search on there and you should find one
Looks good 👍
Looks legit, but if I am using 3 products. I should not have to in between any have to use a wash cloth
I don't think any product(s) will ever completely clean a car. The first product - Polar Blast - removed a lot of dirt, so you could of left it there if you wanted to - see 5:45 for an example of one product clean results.
Good review - you were doing so well until you got that blade out to dry. That needs to go!
Hi Tim, what quick release adaptor did you get and where from please 👍
Aren't you supposed to power rinse first?
Nope, according to AG, Blast is applied to a dry car and then rinsed before Wash is applied
Nice review, but Polar Blast is a terrible product - you’d have got a similar amount of dirt off just with a high pressure rinse. Something like Bilt Hamber Autofoam or Touch Less is much better as a pre-wash and has genuine cleaning ability.
Did you watch the video? It seems to work well to me.
Hi mate, great video! I recently bought a Titan 140bar pressure washer from screw fix but struggling to connect it to my foam lance… please can you share the links from eBay you bought the quick releases adaptors from.
Here you go: www.ebay.co.uk/itm/334030790797?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=4a0Qe7fNTDO&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=vLgkEk17R4K&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
Was going good till you decided to use the wash mit on the whole car, atleast rinse it out between panels
Nice video. After doing the initial wash comes the hard work. You need to go over it with a clay bar for a full deep clean before putting on any wax.
no you really dont
I used seal, my car has a billion water beads 10 hours after rain, neighbours car he doesn’t clean is bone dry, why bother
Never never use that wiper on your car!! One grain of sand on the car and you scratch it!!
I personally dry my vehicle with a Leaf Blower and if water remains i use a microfiber towel with products for a drying aid (can be toppers, etc..)
Pretty certain you should of jet washed first
Been pointed out many times before… but no, AG instructions state the Blast goes on dry without jet washing the car first
The reason they say 40ml is that’s all you need to do the car, the rest is just wasted.
Nice video. Remember always spray down-up
Nice see a dirty car getting clean 👍
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the video!
Nice motor
The polar blast is rubbish. Save your money
What was rubbish about it
First step is to power wash the car BEFORE applying the foam!
Followed AG’s instruction - Polar Blast is applied to a dry car, then rinsed off before Polar Wash is applied
LOL.
SHEEP!
Yummy
