Watching YOUR video finally convinced me to order the PC and I'm sure I'll like it. It's like one of those mods that won't really give you horsepower, for example reducing weight off the car or changing your rear ring-and-pinion gear ratio to higher numeral or back at the days when installing a trans shift-kit, all for quicker acceleration. I've had the pedal commander about 2 years. The my 2014 ATS multiple mode changes in drive gear will cause a check engine light/ limp mode, even if you coast and not touch the throttle. Stopped in neutral no issue so long as you aren't touching the brakes.
I can change sensitivity within the mode, I just can't frequently change modes without triggering it within a few cycles of that.

I just put mines in like 3-days ago. Drove it around town, was workin well. About 45 minutes in, got 'check engine' light. These are the codes I received = P2122, U1424, & P0507. I'm yet to reset the codes but, I will try again. And not switch modes while gas-in it. And not be so aggressive with it. I was having a lil fun. It's very aggressive/ responsive when in sport-mode & sport-mode+. I hope after I rest it all, 'check engine' light stay off
Basically, the Pedal Commander is a shortcut. In other words, you can get all the same 'pedal response' but you'd have to go into your screen mode where you have the options for Sport, Track, Factory (or Normal), and Economy. All of these settings became available when you installed the Tazer, apparently you didn't take the time to research those "Because I drive an R/T, not an SRT."
Bottom line, I can see the advantage of the P.C. due to the fact that you can switch on the fly, no need to get into your screen especially while driving. But just know that ALL these variations are available without the P.C.
As for the ECO Mode, I would highly suggest using it if you're on a long highway drive. You will notice an increase in mileage, yet you won't have the throttle response if a 'Vette rolls up on you.
Speaking of which, that's ALL the Pedal Commander does, improves pedal response. It does not increase horsepower or torque. It's tricking the EMC into 'thinking' differently. Instead of going... 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8, etc. It now thinks... 1,3,5,7 or even 1,5,10,15 etc.
You're right! It wakes YOU up! LOL Definitely makes for a more enjoyable driving experience without doing an actual tune, which would void your warranty.
I mean, where's the fun if you can't smoke the tires now & then?! Then again, you could've done that by holding down that button and removing all the traction control. ;)

I have a ford transit connect cargo van I use for work I have close to a ton of Equipment and I need it to do something to help the poor little 4 banger cause it was so slow and sluggish I could just feel the heavy load specially on hills so I installed a cold air intake, a 2.25" cat back exhaust, some high performance coils, a stage 3 plug & play performance chip, and I could tell it got better, but when I installed the peddle commander wow man my transit takes of like a car I absolutely love it it solved my problem, it turned my turtle in to a rabbit it feels like I have no load. I recommend it to anybody and I didn't get a check engine light.

I use mine every day on ECO with my 2012 v6 Challenger. I do 100+ miles every day in the city for work and it's already paid for itself in gas savings.
Nathan most ppl wanna go faster but I need that eco gas savings. I’m not trying to race everyone. Great comment. I got a 2011 challenger v6 😆 my old job was 70 miles in total for back and forth it was so like ugh this job doesn’t pay enough for my gas
Nailed it on all counts Bro!! Love my PC and those that call it a "novelty" and stop using it crack me up....The improvement & immediacy of throttle response IS the point and makes the car feel like it's got an analog throttle (cable); it makes it much more fun to drive!
It FEELS faster due to the throttle response and that's the point, it totally enhances the driving experience. It has an intuitive interface and no check engine lights or any problems.
The PC, Clutch Delay Valve (CDV) delete for my 6-speed and adding a Barton shifter has transformed the character & drastically improved the driving experience of my blown 2009 5.7 RT..
Now it feels like an old school muscle car like my old 79 Camaro, early 90's T/A GTA & 91 Mustang 5.0....Love it!!

@@Kennethwells7594 It does. R/T LIFE did a piece on that specicifically I believe. From what I can tell you, if u have the proper grip to hook up then it is def going to help u get out the gate quicker, and can only improve times even if only slightly.

Purchased the pedal commander, tested it at various settings. it works. Impressive. Very interesting with factory sport button on and commander also. No bs here. Great tool. Follow directions to avoid check engine lights: dont change settings with gas pedal pressed.

Put it on the highest setting sport+++ from a stand still and floor it! I guarantee u the throttle will go powerless and your throttle body light will come on.
Took mine off cause of so many issues I was having with it, it completely messed up my throttle body and sensor after 3 months had to replace it took this thing off instantly

Same here bro i use mines everyday my commute to work is a hour and ECO +4 really help save gas on top of ECO mode but when i get off and daily driving anywHere Sport+ +4 all day
For all the 5.7 owners if you grab a 3.09 differential along with the PC. All i can say is besafe💨💨💨💨💨 anything beyond sport mode is insane.

I would HIGHLY recommend NOT CHANGING modes while driving - even if you are out of the accelerator. Ideally, I wouldn't even change modes while the engine is running. Also - avoid using the bluetooth feature. I have heard a ton of issues from people using the bluetooth app.
I love the pedal commanfer, however I did have to take it out after my sensros started going haywire and my Challenger kept going into limp mode. I haven't put it back In yet, but I did run into sensor problems. I do plan on reinstalling soon.
Same my sensor went bad after 3 months had to replace the throttle body took it off haven’t put it on since I took it off

Worked great for about 2 yrs. It threw codes. I reset it and reinstalled and 2.miles down the road same thing check engine and throttle code.I have Jay greene custom tune hl cam and alot of goodies. Im getting sprint booster now.There is alot of videos on pcommander having issues.Some of the people are having this happen on the freeway.Yep worked great for awhile. Also certain frequencies affect it as well.Btw i had it tucked under dash. Sprint booster doesnt seem to have the same issues as pcommander.I havent seen one video about sprint having issues.The pcommander has alot.

I've had my PC a year now and still use it today. You can change while driving just let off the gas. The only reason i got a check engine light was because i started pressing buttons soon as i turn my car on not letting it cycle through the light show.
Any issues with you going wide open throttle and the ECU not liking it and subsequently putting you until limp mode?

had pc in my 22 is350 but removed after seeing so many post about limp mode and throttle rev on its own scary anyone know a safer set up im bummed because it works so good
I installed it with the fog in my pocket also I change the mods while I'm driving. NEVER NEVER AN ISSUE!!!

I've had mine for a couple weeks now with no problems until tonight when changed it to city so it wouldn't be so jerky then I got a check engine light with a flashing lightning bolt flashing

Sport+ +4 is stupid quick to fast to drive it in park Lots or around town

Was looking on getting the Pedal Commander for my Ram 2500 Laramie Longhorn. Just wanted to know if there is anything else I would need to know besides what you mentioned in the video. Here mixed reviews and that kind of deters me from getting it, so your honest opinion. Ease of install ease of use worry free? Holla back.

@@mpg0211 works as it should. I’ve never had any issues with it. Sometimes I think about selling it but then I turn it off and it’s night and day in throttle response. Feels like it should with the PC

Does the PC stay on your last set setting even after you turn the car off and back on? Or do you have to set it where you want it every time you turn the car on?

Not for me
You must follow install instructions to go back to factory. Go to your vehicle (w/out your FOB) and open the door then partially close it (door ajar...just to keep leaves out, etc). Now go do something for several minutes. Go back to your car and open the door...look at the dash/radio/etc. Make sure nothing lights up...no power. Now, do the switch out.
I don’t have a pedal commander but I do have an extremely similar device called a 9 drive which does the exact same thing and I have nothing bad to say about it, I wasn’t expecting what I ordered and I’m glad I ordered the 9 drive. Too bad my AWD turbocharged car can’t do any burnouts even though I don’t have my 9 drive setup to do anything like that yet.
