Even now pregnancy and motherhood is portrayed as a magical time when in reality it can be extremely stressful for expectant mums. Having to work, childcare costs, and social media full of superwomen capable of juggling parenthood, work, and a healthy social life, puts enormous pressure for women to emulate them.
The prince and princess of wales care deeply about peoples mental health and do their best to highlight these issues . The Prince and Princess of Wales certainly are a dynamic team . So popular and very much loved , by young and old , throughout the world. Their dedication to service and sincerity is a wonderful thing. They are such a huge asset to the Royal Family, and I am very proud of them . The stunning princess of Wales , just gets better and better. 👏👏
Sleep deprivation. Every mom deals with it but if you are a single mom (your partner is overseas, separated, no partner, dozens of reasons for this) it can become a very debilitating issue. I actually came down with a life threatening illness (worked full time, infant plus toddler & husband overseas). My grandmother saved me. She used to have me over to take a nap. If anything happened, I was there but she saw to the kids while I slept. Reach out. Get a nap. Every minute of sleep helps.
It's so important to talk, we all think we should suffer in silence. We are so scared of being judged.
These ladies did a wonderful job of putting feelings into words. This is such an important issue to highlight. Thank you the Prince and Princess of Wales who always find ways to help others.

People expect you to bond, feel excitement once the baby is born, but if that's taken away from you, those first very precious moment,'s then it can be hard to bond with your baby. . My own mother took them away from me, control was taken out of my hands when my daughter was born., in the end she was an emergency Cesarean. Now Take a deep breath, breath you have a life time of precious moments to come. Even if things are taken out of our control, dont be afraid to take it back, it may take awhile, but we/you will be strong again. Find someone to talk too. Sadly here in the UK, we can find it hard to open up.
Motherhood is a difficult and scary time and they need all the support they can get. Happy thanksgiving 🦃 everyone from your friends in 🇨🇦 🎃🍾🥂.

„It takes a village to raise a child“, however, modern society has moved away from staying close to that support network that generations before us had while raising their kids, and today, moms and dads have to do it all themselves.
Of course, parents are the main people in charge as they chose to have children, but I think having support from extended family is very precious and maybe that’s what so many moms and dads are lacking today. Just a little help here and there.
Simple things like taking a nap after a bad night, or a run to the grocery store without the kids, a date night to connect with your spouse, can make a huge difference for parents.
A new mother can have people around them who don't feel so positive about the birth of the child. It can take time for the family feeling to emerge. This lack of immediacy can also affect a woman and cause mental health issues.
This is so helpful to all women and mom … that amazing information and awareness. Well done and keep up with beautiful work 👌👌👌

politicians, business owners: MANDATE WORKING HOURS TO COINCIDE W/ SCHOOL HOURS. a chunk of mental health will escalate.
Parenting differs for everyone no you can be 100% prepared for it u just wing it. Not so bad & it is magical being pregnant but uncomfortable but it prepares u for lack of sleep to come. Just be Thankful for being able to be pregnant & experience it with a better outlook cause there are so many women who would love the opportunity however will never get to have a baby. So complain if I will but be grateful in those moments.
I don't think they aren't grateful. Quite the opposite. They are addressing the issues some women face. No sleep, poor nutrition, astigmatism for having mental health issues, lack of help and many other issues Mums experience. During pregnancy and after.
