I have the xpro bolt 125cc fully automatic transmission and I went to finally drive it without doing an oil change yet. I rode the bike for maybe 5-10 minutes through my neighborhood and came back to see a black liquid coming out from the exhaust. My mom and dad were also watching me ride the bike and a whole bunch of white smoke kept coming from the exhaust please tell me some solutions for the bike. (I never had any experience with a dirt bike before)
Interesting. The first thing I'd do is an oil change with quality oil. The black and white smoke can both be consistent with too rich of a fuel mixture, but white smoke can also indicate worn piston rings. When you do the oil change, check for metal fragments in the oil. After that, take the spark plug out, and inspect the bottom of it. Look up "spark plug chart" on Google and that should give you a frame of reference.
@@isaiahsimoneau The bike is brand new I just got it for Christmas. The gas I used was just normal gas my parents also use the same gas for the lawnmower, we didnt let the bike warm up or do an oil change my mom keeps getting a bit mad but im trying to explain that we havent done an oil change on the bike yet
Afternoon, appreciate the video! I just bought one for my son and appears to be having an issue staying on. Is there an idle control you know of to adjust? Your video helped me figure out the choke, confusing like you said. I have the fuel open to flow. Just hoping I did not get a dud. I filled tank with non-ethanol gas and used 10w 40 motorcycle oil from the start. Appreciate any assistance you can be.
Hey Shannon, thanks for the comment! On the right side of the bike, center of the carburetor, there is an idle adjustment screw. Turning clockwise / in will increase idle, counter clockwise / out will decrease idle. Unfortunately, if increasing the idle does not help you may have to upgrade the carb altogether. The factory carbs are hit or miss, heavily miss, the X-Pro X9 I just bought runs terribly with the factory carb.
The blue looks good. Once you get to modding it youll have to check out the channel. Ive done just about every modification you can and have all the parts listed in the videos to upgrade the bike.
@isaiahsimoneau That's Awesome. Hopefully, it will do good for you. It has lasted really well for me and is perfect for racing friends on Built Crf 110s or anything similar.
I actually prefer the Storm. It's a little smaller but has a little more torque, the frame is color matched which gives it a quality look, and it comes in sharper color ways. Ultimately the biggest deciding factor for me between the two would be the size.
Absolutely. Take the two 12mm bolts out that are holding the caliper bracket on. Make sure to set the spacers aside and remember where they go in relation to the bracket. Now with the bracket off, slide the caliper onto the bracket. With the caliper attached to the bracket, put the caliper onto the rotor, and then get it into place to reattach the caliper bracket. It's tricky and an extra set of hands wouldn't hurt. Hope this is helpful!

it also kept shutting off after I started it, I had to stay on the bike and do the throttle for it to not shut off.

Let me know about metal in the oil and about what the spark plug looks like and we'll go from there!
@@isaiahsimoneau what do you mean metal in the oil? It also has a sparkplug and when I checked it was fully white

How do you make your bike stand up from the back tire
I assembled mine by myself and I put a stepladder over the bike and used a rachet strap to raise it up to install the shock bolt.
Great Video! do you have any other pit bikes to review?
Thank you! Just this and the X-Pro X9, for now!
@isaiahsimoneau Alright thank you just wondering

Can you please put a video about the choke and gas in detail 🤔🤙👌
Check out @MartinRacingChannel, I believe he goes further in depth with that as well as with the Nibbi carb.

No one ever talks about the chain. As in adjustment and lube.

@isaihsimoneau
You'll be fine either way, 17/14 isn't too big for your height, but you may find the smaller wheels easier to manage for your first bike.
