I have a Coolster 125 for my kid. After some carb adjustments, pod filter change to a UNI pod filter, blue locktighting most body plastic bolts/screws, and regular maintenance, it is just as reliable as any Japanese dirt bike I've ever owned. I also have an XPro Storm 150 DLX as a micro dual sport and it's been flawless for the first 500 miles of ownership, and I've ran it on the street and dirt pretty hard. These things are a heck of a deal for the $ as long as you know how to wrench on them.
I have been riding for almost fifty years now and for young kids I think neutral at the bottom makes it much easier for young riders to find. As they age it will be easier to find that sweet spot between first and second.
I got a rfz 125 My kids love it, And has enough power for me to have fun also. Great starter bike. Few minor upgrades and it does become a pretty reliable unit. Great video
Don't upshift semi-auto clutches without letting off, it will destroy the friction plates, although some style semi autos handle it better than others. A two stage clutch semi auto has both a centripetal clutch and a normal clutch and will handle a no lift shift ok, but many single clutch semi-autos will see significant wear from doing so
Do you know of anyone that has tried the 125cc with what they call the automatic transmission. I have a fused ankle on my left side and cannot lift my foot/toes to change gears.
I have an xpro x17 automatic transmission with approximately 80-90 hours on it and have upgraded many of the parts , I know what it takes to be successful with the bike and I enjoy working on it and riding !
Not sure if you just misspoke in the video, but your choke goes the opposite direction. All the way up is full choke, all the way down is no choke at least on the stock carb. Could be why they won't run with the choke off IF you were using it as shown in the video and it wasn't just a brain fart.

Second one is same this bike X-PRO X19 125cc Dirt Bike Zongshen Brand Engine with 4-Speed Semi-Automatic Transmission, Big 17"/14" Tires! (Red)
I mean same hight
Similar, there are some differences though.
@@GhostSpeedShopwhat are the difference
Sadly none of these bikes can be shipped to California due to their crappy state laws.
Which is crazy because supposedly they are carb compliant
It’s sucks here for dirtbikes
Got to love the Democrat states!
That’s tough
So I am 5 feet 8 inches and probably going to get taller , which one would you recommend?
The Apollo RFZ is perfect for you
@@GhostSpeedShop What should I buy to upgrade? Before I buy it?
My son is 5'8", he fits on the apollo great
The vm22 carb for sure and a stick on hour meter. Check the video description for links! I also have a carb install guide video on my channel!
Is there a way to get it to Nigeria
I’m not sure, you’ll have to contact Amazon

Yes, I haven’t seen any complaints yet. See my other video about changing out the carb for a better one

Totally a brain fart, good catch
@@GhostSpeedShop That's what I suspected, you seemed to know your stuff otherwise and off the bike it's a bit different way of looking at it
@@GhostSpeedShopBrand new fart.
