Testing My Setup - MOTO-VLOG 9/13/2024
Просмотров 6528 дней назад
Overall I am pleased with how this turned out. I believe my helmet wasn't on my head straight so the video is a bit crooked, and every once in a while the audio cuts out completely. I believe the audio cut-out is due to the mic sensitivity levels in my Cardo app - I will adjust and retry for next time. As you may notice I did not edit this - it was simply a test run. Any pointers on my setup or...

Have you removed the baffles and is the cat converter still in?
Everything is factory, nothing altered
I often wish I'd bought a 125 instead of the 250cc X-Motos I bought about 16/17 years ago. It's fast as hell after modding and performs great, but I realized soon after I would have preferred something smaller and more nimble for a stunt bike. *My Vitacci Pentora 250, on the other hand, is a monster!* A lot of these vehicles coming out of China need the jets changed due to sea level. My PZ30 carburetor actually does great, but obviously needs the jets changed or replaced. IMO, what you get for something brand new is still a far bigger win than buying big brand used. My quad has 70 feet of heat wrap, a 2.5" adapter to a glass pack car muffler and a lot of other mods. I should have about 70 mph top speed from 4 gears and know I would demolish a stock Yamaha Raptor-250 that it's cloned off of. *They are a labor of love and not for someone lacking technical skills.*
I picked up the exact same sled this spring with only 1200KM on it, $7,500 CDN including a 1 up trailer. There were so many sleds for sale after the horrible winter.
Light weight? 🤣🤣
Shilltuber
Is it big ? And can someone that is 1m60 be in it ? And comfortable
You can be on it, but it will be definitely be on the small side for you.
@@isaiahsimoneau ok and we can’t be 2 on it ?
You can, but it'll be tight!
I have a video segment on the Cardo + Action Cam combo on my channel because I had the same idea you did. Turns out, Its less than ideal due to Cardo being primarily a comms system. Your camera can be great with the proper settings, but get a Rode lav mic or a DJI wireless 2.
Amen ❤ la la la
No TC or ABS?? Damn you gotta be good at riding if you gonna own this or it’s hello God after two turns. Thanks for the vid
yes and no it depends on the person, I got a 2007 CBR1000RR and it has no ABS no nothing, just raw 1000cc power and I'm learning it as I've had it less than a month and it's my first 1000cc and it's just a matter of knowing your limits and watching videos online. Today actually I went to some twisty roads for the first time and on the first pass I was kinda nervous, taking turns at around 50kmh but on the way back I was taking them at 70-80kmh but it wasn't so much about speed but more about the rhythm. I wasn't braking barely at all on corner entry, I was moving my body from left to right, I was keeping my speed as well as increasing it towards corner exit and I was keeping my eyes at the corner exit instead of in front of me. Now that I'm able to keep a rhythm with my body and not be all afraid I can slowly but surely increase the speed at which I take those corners. You just gotta have a brain between your ears.
It's definitely more geared towards advanced level riders, but with good clutch and throttle control it isn't too bad. The power and torque are extremely responsive in the higher RPMs, if you keep it in the lower RPM range it is much more manageable.
Do that in a 450l

@@Preacher11c Thank you!
Thanks for this amazing videos and lots of love from India ❤..I have a Royal Enfield 350..
Ali Express has quite a bit of cfmoto 650 NK parts and mods. I own a 2022 650 NK and chose it over MT07. Has great brakes, good power, good technology all standard and I totally love this bike and highly recommend it. Engine, clutch, and transmission worked smoothly together and for the price ($5600) out the door, it's hard to beat. It's my favorite bike. Congrats on the bike man.
I was actually looking at buying this exact model for a second bike so one of my friends could ride with me. How tall are you, my brother is 6’2 and I kinda wanted to get this bike for him. Also 860 for a new 125cc dirtbike is solid I think
I am 6'1". It's definitely on the smaller size for me but a good size to throw around!
Did you swap out the headlight assembly?? Looks different than most gsxr’s I’ve seen.
I did not, but it very well may be after market!
@@isaiahsimoneau i gotcha! Was just curious because i thought about swapping the fairings on my gsxr 600 but idk if i want the 1000 yet or not.
I’ve got a 2012 tiger 800 but the street triple is on my bucket list of bikes. Love the engine on the Tiger but I’m sure it’s much more exciting in the striple with about 100lbs weight savings.
Pegs are not stock... great bike. Purchased mine in 2008. Solid. Dependable. Comfortable. Wish it had a 6th gear.
Is this still relevant on 2024 ?
Absolutely, the new bike market has become outrageously expensive over the past few years, and more and more riders are turning to used bikes...
@isaiahsimoneau i mean, like maintenance and reliability of the bike ..
@isaiahsimoneau is this bike often broken, and what are common problems that this bike has .. for example, kawasaki ninja are famous for ticking sounds that are from tensioner
I see. Yes, the technology on these bikes has changed very little. The in-line 4cyls are still plenty reliable, and there are no common issues that I am aware of. The biggest difference between these and the newer line of SS bikes will be the digital screen, and stuff such as ABS and traction control.
❤❤
Website does not work.
well its 2010 /2011
nice i have the same bike is it safe to run it on 98 octane fule from the pump
Not sure, there's no 98 in my area!
@@isaiahsimoneau ok thank you any way
Baffles?
No baffles.
I’m about to buy a 2022, for my first bike 😂
I sat on a 2024 Vulcan Classic at my local shop and it fit really good. I’m 6’3 and it felt really comfortable for me. I’m moving out of state next year this is my new first bike.
Does urs make a rattling noise in the pull start while ur driving ?
I hate how it pings I have the 23 also and can't wait to change it
I have the 2005 version. Great bike out here in the West. You can cruise all day in comfort. The bike is heavy which is a great feature here in the West as it's often very windy. The bike handles that wind very well. Very comfortable ride with the air shocks. The engine being a 4 cylinder is very smooth with about 100 h.p. I think the pipes have been punched out. Mine are. The bike shifts very nice. You will get a whine from the cut gears, but not bad. I usually wear ear plugs so I don't hear it at all. I cut the windshield down a bit as It was too tall for my tastes. I have taken my bike on many long rides of many thousands of miles. It just gets up and goes and does not break down. The carbs are great as they have heaters if it's cold and starts up easy with a choke adjustment. The only drawback is when you are over 10000 feet up in the mountains you notice the loss of power, but not enough where you can't get to speed, it just takes longer to get to that speed. The brakes work great but make sure you check your pads often as with the heavy bike I go through a lot of rear brake pads. I am changing them out now. It does have a cassette player that I rarely use, but it does have an auxiliary input where I connect my phone and listen to music that way. It has a CB unit as well. Sometimes I will listen to the truckers on the highway, but usually not very often.
I’m getting a Vulcan 900 today. Going to be my first motorcycle I’ve had and I’ve heard allot of good things about this bike. Never had a motorcycle and I’m already wanting to ride it when I get it 😂🤦♂️
Congrats, you're gonna love it!
Can you use blietooth
The base model does not have Bluetooth to my knowledge. AUX port in the center console.
I WISH THIS HAD BEEN AROUND WHEN I HAD MY 07 Ninja Zx1000!! I had high bars and aftermarket seat on my SV1000
i thought only lesbians rode these lol
Akrapovič - you say it like "uh cruh po witch". nice video!
Gonna say akra-povick just to make you mad
You got the "X9 125" and I'm interested in "Sail 125" , because the "Sail" has a longer wheelbase and the engine is made by "Zongshen", which is a reputable Chinese engine manufacturer. Both have 17/14 inch wheels and both are imported to US by Xpro. I'm not an off-road rider, but I want something that can handle dirt/gravel roads and smooth trail riding. And my intension is to convert it to street legal so I can commute with it. I know there are already a lot of dual sports bikes out there, but they all have very tall seat-heights and Japanese bikes are too expensive for me. My inseam is only 29 inches. Can you please confirm the seat-height to your bike by measuring the top of the seat to the ground when bike is standing straight up? I'd appreciated it very much. And also is there a way that the seat can be lowered? Thanks.
Hi Jeff, thanks for the comment. I unfortunately no longer have this bike so I can't confirm seat height for you. There's a few ways you can drop it a bit, you may be able to find (or make) a lowering link, you could take a small bit of foam out of the seat though there isn't much available to take, and you may be able to raise the forks to help bring the seat down. Good luck!
We need more reviews like this one brother awesome work man praise 🎉🎉🎉
Looks like a 1700 with the polished lower engine fins
Interesting! I ran the VIN this morning and confirmed it to be a 1600.
Do they make sidecars for these?
ROAD TRIP BROTHER 😊😊😊😊😊
do u have this for sale?
Yes I do. Located in Bradley Maine. Has new tires since the video was put up. Asking $7,995
X-PRO X19 125cc Dirt Bike Zongshen Brand Engine with 4-Speed Semi-Automatic Transmission, Big 17"/14" Tires! (Red)
It’s that this bike
@@Sanjeebtamang123 the X19 is identical to this, but has a semi-automatic transmission, so it does not have a clutch, but it still has a shift lever
Yo idk if you will see this but how tall are you? just for sizing of bike reference
6' 1"
I used to own one. I'm looking for another one to go with my Yamaha Royal Star tour deluxe. Your pipes are stock.
What would u say is the maximum a riders height should be for this?
It's totally relative. I am 6' 1" and enjoy it, but definitely look "too big" for it!
keep up the GREAT work, u may not have a lot of subs , but u WILL get more!
Appreciate you!
My first brand new HD was a 1993 Heritage, around 10,000 $.I still have it today.
HD introduced the softail around 1986. It is modeled on the 1950's retro style. I owned a 2012 (new) and traded it in on a 2016 (new) which now has 115,000 kilometers on it. Loved both of them. Very sturdy and a great handling bike. I'm 74 yo and still going strong and so is the bike.👍
Awesome info Arthur, thanks for the comment!
@@isaiahsimoneau Thanks for the get back. In case you don't know 115, 000 km is almost 70,000 miles (actually 69,000). Have a great day!!
They're reliable bikes! I had a 2002 Softail a couple years back and it had 71k miles on it by the time I sold it!
Me encanta que las personas aceleren el motor recién arrancado, me encanta porque soy mecánico y la ignorancia de unos es el trabajo de otros.
The bike was warm. I just got back from a ride. I am a mechanic as well 😄
Okay out having a good day....
I believe the black with blue pinstripes was a police appreciation model. Special ordered only by police officers or retired
That's neat info, I will have to look into that!
