  • In this video I break down the four rods/reels that I have in my boat ALL summer long. I talk all about how and why I use each rod and reel for a specific presentation and technique. I show my set ups for Jigs, Drop Shots, Jigging Raps, Slip Bobbers, Lindy Rigs and many more. Check out the links below to find all of the rods and reels mentioned in the video! Thanks for watching!

Hey nice video some good tips! Do you know where a guy can get a Rosemore rod in Canada I would be interested to try that 6' for finesse setup?

Thanks man! Unfortunately, they don’t right now. You Canadians always get the short end of the stick when it comes to products, but the long end of the stick when it comes to fishing 😂

What is the real difference between walleye rods and bass? Reason I ask is because I have several spinning rods that I use for both walleye and bass fishing and they all work perfectly fine for both. And the piscifun reels...they're pretty damn awesome, I have a whole bunch of the carbon x and captain that I use in FW and SW and have never had an issue other than them not fitting the reel seat on a custom rod I have.

A lot of spinning rods can easily be dual purpose like that! I use a lot of these same rods for my finesse bass stuff as well. I think the difference comes in the baitcasters when you are fishing cover etc…
Love my Piscifun reels! There is not a better real for the price point!!

@@tjsguideservice it does seem walleye rods are typically a bit shorter and lighter on the power. Regardless...they all do the trick. And I completely agree...I've owned shit from the Walmart special reels to ones in the $500 range and I've yet to find a reel that compares at that price point in terms of build quality, weight and smoothness. Thanks for the reply.... definitely subbing, I need some more walleye tips.
