    Hey Everyone, this video is spot on. I was having pain in my shoulders and lower back while in the aero position. I had a professional fitting a couple years ago and it did not work for me. I watched this video and made the changes and Wow! I eliminated the back and shoulder pain. I was able to maintain the aero position for 30 minutes straight. I’m a follower now, please continue to post tips and tricks and thank you.

      I tried adjusting the saddle hight, push it forward a bit. Not a sure it’s perfect but I’m way more comfortable. And the paint in my right knee isn’t as bad as the tension is less. I only have pain in my right knee.

    I have watched your video and did some set of tweaks as recommended from your video oh, I feel so much better. Today was a very windy windy day and I was in Aero position on my elbows my hands were above my elbows I tipped the seat just slightly brought it up about a quarter inch push my cleats back all the way and it was a phenomenal ride today. And on my way back I had tell him when and that tell when was just pushing me and I felt smooth fast and very much in control. Thanks for sharing these videos with us

    This bike was really easy to assemble ruclips.net/user/postUgkxMesz3KOGEmwmvyKQfLfrRSUXLFzfVHZA and required very few adjustments out of the box. The wheels did not require any truing/adjustments. The frame had some small scratches, but nothing major.I did replace the seat though - the seat it came with was very uncomfortable. The tires need to be re-inflated every 4-5 days, but this appears to be quite common for the narrow 700x25 tires.Overall, in my opinion, this bike looks and rides like a much more expensive bike.

    Very interesting video. When choosing a bike frame height for a road bike that's also meant to be used for triathlons, would I choose the smaller size as for a tri bike or the normal size based on leg length? The reason I'm asking is that the smaller frame might allow a lower handle-bar position, or is my assumption wrong? I do not own a road bike yet, but I want to make sure to choose something that would be suitable for my first few 70.3s as well.

    • @custombikefit466
      @custombikefit466  Год назад +1

      If you're buying a road bike, buy one that fits well for the more upright road position. There are simple modifications you can make to lower the front end (negative stems) if absolutely necessary. If you really enjoy the racing and lifestyle, you'll likely end up with 2 bikes. You don't want to have to sell the road bike (because it's too small) when you also purchase your 1st TT. Hope that helps Alex

      You can do the same with your cell phone. All he's doing is recording an image he can stop and examine at each point of rotation, to check angles. If you have a protractor, and know the desired angles (which you can look up anywhere on the web), you can do exactly what he's doing.

    • @custombikefit466
      @custombikefit466  4 года назад +1

      Fitting a rider in a TT position on a road bike with clip-on aero bars is always a compromise. In an ideal world we'd all have 2 bikes (road and TT) but that's not possible in many cases so we do the best we can with what we have

    I don't see much of a difference. I've done every possibility to my bike for years for just exercise, raising the seat, raising the goose neck, different saddles and still have always had wrist pain and numbness in my hands and pains in my arms and always in my bum. Even got a wider more cushiony seat and that doesn't work either. Now that I'm 65 it has only gotten worse and probably arthritis I think.
