While riding my road bike I feel the need to periodically move my bum back in the saddle. I find that over the course of my ride, my bum tends to move forward and I then have to keep repositioning it further back. I feel the need to do this because I am uncomfortable closer to the nose of the saddle and I feel my legs aren’t extending enough as I paddle. Can you explain why this is happening and what I need to do?

I’ve lost my “clip” that attaches to the hydration system. Basically came loose and fell off during a ride…where can I buy the clip? Is it included with the purchase of the hydration system or included with the faceplate or sold separately? Worried I won’t be able to find another “clip”

    • @custombikefit466

It's hard to give advice without seeing you on the bike. Moving the saddle forward can open up the hip angle, but it can also cause issues. Moving the armrests up may be a safer option. By all means email me at setup@custombikefit.com

Cool honest review 👌🏻 I'm a giant trinity & propel owner. But also a specialized fan boy tbh. But same I went with the Trinity and propel, vs. The venge and transition at the time... because of price; because the spec version of similar bikes were 2,500 to 3,000 $ more in price but the transition when observed had a faulty fork/headset design that rubbed itself to crumble on its proprietary edges when turning the fork all the way to left/right for car fitment. Which seemed like a design fail on specs part. So I got the Trinity and never looked back. Upgraded from a Kestrel Talon TT bike, been happy ever since. wba. I don't feel the NEED to upgrade it, since everything I ride it, people say "nice NEW bike". And they are surprised when I tell them it's like 5 or 6 years old, really. It is at the higher echelon of tt tech IMHO, so I'm staying w it for many a year. Done.

I doubt you're still helping with fits 5 years later, but I just wanted to mention that I've been riding a pn3.1 40 for about four years now and I can never ride for more than an hour before my sit bones are on fire. I'm going through some videos today to see if there are any adjustments I can make to help with that. Height, fore and aft, tilt etc. I will say that ISM has amazing customer service. If you call, odds are the owner or his wife will answer the phone, this is the guy who designed these saddles and he's more than willing to spend some time aking sure you choose the right saddle for your needs and if there is an issue they'll take care of it. I just wish I could find a way to make this saddle comfortable for long rides.

This bike was really easy to assemble ruclips.net/user/postUgkxMesz3KOGEmwmvyKQfLfrRSUXLFzfVHZA and required very few adjustments out of the box. The wheels did not require any truing/adjustments. The frame had some small scratches, but nothing major.I did replace the seat though - the seat it came with was very uncomfortable. The tires need to be re-inflated every 4-5 days, but this appears to be quite common for the narrow 700x25 tires.Overall, in my opinion, this bike looks and rides like a much more expensive bike.

I’m enjoying the bike so far ruclips.net/user/postUgkxMesz3KOGEmwmvyKQfLfrRSUXLFzfVHZA My only real complaints are the brakes and the pedals. I feel like a bike designed for bigger people should have much larger pedals and more heavy duty brakes. I’ve only gotten two really good rides out of it, minimal downhill action, and the brakes feel like they’re already going out. A larger person has more momentum, so I think this wasn’t thought through very well. Also, I wear size 13-14 wide shoes. My feet cramp up on these pedals that are clearly made for smaller feet. Since I’m not a pro rider (and I don’t think many are who purchase this bike) I don’t think that the straps on the pedal are necessary at all. None of this takes away from the enjoyment I get from riding, however. I’ll just head to a bike shop to improve on a few things.
