The fake gladiator script is jokes, but there was a comic book where the Roman legionaire that stabs Jesus basically get punished with immortality and a blessed spear and gets tasked with fighting evil for all time. The comics setting was ww2 and he was leading a commando team against nazi occult. Pretty cool
You mean the spear of Longinus? That has been associated with something the Nazis were looking for in terms of occult stuff since WWII itself so apart from it being used by someone *against* the nazis that was a sort of classic trope already well before the comic then lol.
Yeah I had the same thought when Ben mentioned the Total war mod he played on his streams recently. As fair as I can tell the only Vods he’s put on RUclips are on ‘Lewis and Ben save the world’. But those only seem to be Vods of full play throughs of strategy games. Last upload was of Xcom 40k mod 6 months ago. I guess have to watch the Vods on his twitch channel before they get deleted in a month after streaming (maybe 60 days not sure)
The unreleased Fantastic 4 movie was actually a good B-movie, directed by Roger Corman, used its tiny budget ridiculously well, and it is MUCH, better than the Jessica Alba one from the early 2000s, and not just because of how horrifically bad that one is (Ben actually saying "but they made a worse one" when referring to the unreleased movie as being worse than the 2004 one, is just sad parroting). People who haven't actually seen the movie like to jump on the bandwagon of just bullsht rumours about it being bad because it's not a super expensive edgy movie, but instead a classically made, kinda corny and endearing superhero b-movie where everyone ironically actually tried vs the mega-budget blockbuster that was actually released where nobody tried.

A better way to keep the warbands fresh is to allow players to make their own warbands, like in the actually good games they used to make.

Well if it says 58% on Rotton Tomatoes, it's probably pretty good.
