- I recently got a new Samsung Galaxy Watch (Watch Active2) and these are the first 8 things I did to set up and customize my new smartwatch! If you're looking for ways to customize your Samsung Galaxy smartwatch, then I hope that you learned some good Galaxy Watch customization tips from this video! Great to find someone who reviews Samsung as their preferred ecosystem. Just got the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra recently and I'm waiting to get the Galaxy Watch 4, which all rumors say will be announced by the end of June. It's good to be back with Samsung! ☺️

You don't need the flashlight app .You can access flashlight from the control center. At least for me it's built in. 🥰

Hey thanks for the lovely video, very helpful, just one question... could you please let me know how do u charge d watch? Because there is no adapter inside...do u use laptop USB? Because now a days all phone adapter having fast charging so i am unable to use d same because voltage and amp both are very high compared to d actual capacity needed to charge d watch... thanks in advance..😊🙏

I was looking at your watch and I got confused bc we have the same model 😅 but different widgets and programs for some reason and I kept searching in my phone until I found a new update for my watch 😅 but please tell me did get the blood pressure and oxygen update ? And how useful are they ?

I would of recommended the 40mm for you since you seem smaller and that one looks too large

Samsung pay feature is amazing when they put on galaxy watch

Yes it can
Yupp you don't need the flash light app... infact it's built in both active 1 and 2 watches...
Do you need a second phone line when you get a smart phone?and do you know why a Samsung galaxy active watch won’t connect to a iPhone 12 Pro Max?
It can connect to iPhone, you have to download the Samsung wear app to pair it
Linking the watch to my phone was a breeze, the nice young lady at US Cellular did it for me, I'm curious now if anybody knows if there's a way to link the watch to my galaxy chromebook OS? It's not the end of the world if it doesn't, but if it can, that would be super :)

Do you think the heart rate feature is accurate? I have a medical condition where the health side like the ECG and heart rate would be very beneficial to me and would be the reason for me getting the watch :)
I think fitbit is better then, but none are ever completely avcurate, just very close
for ur case, if u have ios i recommend apple as they have the best hr tracking on a watch, and if u have android i recommend hauwei for hr
can you please test or find some document reader apps for gwa2?

@@obidean3964 haha well long response incoming. When they announced the watch I thought it looked interesting but was busy with life so I didn't really look into it much. A few days ago I saw first reviews in my recommendations so I got more interested. Went ahead and ordered the GW 4 LTE (non-classic) 46mm in black. Unfortunately it will only ship at the end of September.. So bc I have no patience I decided to also 8rder the Classic 42 mm LTE black bc it by was in stock. I have rather thin arms so I thought I'd just see how it is
Watch arrived today and I just finished setting it up, I'm not sure about the size tbh, I do think It looks a little small on my arm but not to the point where it looks silly 😅 I think I'll use it for a few days, maybe try to try on the 46mm version in a store and then decide if I'll keep this one or return it and wait for the other one to arrive.

My sister have the same watch that u have and you can text to people with the watch too.
But you have to use your finger to write it on your watch to text people.
My card that i have has the tap in feature where I hover it over the verifone and it instantly charges me without having to insert my card it’s amazing and i love that feature

haha good catch! I think dex is a cool feature, but I don't use it that much bc I already have a laptop
Yep, saw DeX too. DeX is cool.
But it,s is for people who want to ditch their laptops and use their galaxy tab as their pseudo laptop.
It s great that samsung gives options though. DEX is even built into Samsung laptops, the new galaxy book pro and galaxy book pro 360 being their 2 newest laptops. And can be used wirelessly on the laptops to transfer files between phone and laptop easily.
Quickshare is on the new laptops too.
The watch comes in contact with water, such as a shower, pool and more?
Do you leave the GPS on permanently on in the watch?
As an iphone user and Apple Watch owner I gotta say I like the Samsung watch a little better than the Apple Watch it’s just cute, well maybe cause i have the silver and white band color and not the gold and pink sand which looks just like ellas watch

Yes you can. Works on all android phones. Also works with iPhones but is limited

If you have an Apple Watch you can control the camera from your iphone like you don’t need an app on the Apple Watch for that, you just need to have your phone nearby

i use the galaxy watch.
A tip for Samsung Pay on the watch to share all new users here. You only have to key in your passcode once when you are shopping and making payment in different shops. The watch will detect when you take out the watch from your wrist then automatically turn off Samsung Pay. Otherwise, you can just long press the top button again and again without keep on keep on keying in the passcode. It is really convenient if you are shopping in many shops in one time.
