I’ve had quite a lot of success in the wreckage of long-destroyed titans. The biggest help was fitting A rated sensors with grade 5 wide-angle for obvious reasons
I’ve never been near a titan or let alone in it’s caustic cloud from a noob that knows nothing about Xeno, I appreciate the guide, I’m currently setting my ship up to get ready to grind drive components and propulsion elements. o7
I use the asp explorer and my route is to go around and then to the middle, I ignored everything except the metal alloys and the titan engines, in general in the first lap I already have between 7 to 11 metal alloys and 1 to 3 engine fragments
I have a purpose built cutter sporting all azimuth mcs exactly for this endeavor. The biggest threat you'll face in titan wrecks are medusas and they're easy enough to take out if you know what you're doing. You can do it in any ship, just cover the core basics of Bringing an A rated sensors engineered for wide range. engineer your PP and thrusters for heat so you cruise around sub 20 on temps, bring a couple hundred limpets and some coffee cause its literally like fishing if you really want to wreck farm
There is a bug where even when given cargo, the right panel refuses to show it for short amount of time, this usually fixes itself after you make a jump or relog. But you shall not wory, the cargo is in fact there
On first few entries at dead Cocijo I found zero drives, then found one, then none a few times, than three in one entry within five minutes scattered around. Guess it's rng at full swing.
Ok.. Well. I have a suggestion. Since the objects spawn in on a semi-rng basis, why not eliminate objects that are unwanted to make room for new spawns? Dont even gotta pick it up to clear the board. Just shoot stuff till the TDC spawns. Work the rng. Don't let it work you (in circles).
I also spent two, engineered Caustic Sink launchers at Cocijo and found none, but within ten minutes of hitting Tyranis, found one. Then got jumped by two Scythes and a Basilisk and decided discretion is the better part of valor, and that cowardice was the better part of discretion and boosted away. The Cobra Mk 5 is _fast._
How do you get the anti corrosion cargo holds? I can see it available from human tech brokers, but it seems to require thargoid parts - but how do I get the parts to build the cargo hold without melting my ship? It seems I need the thing before I can make the thing!
It doesn't require Thargoid parts? Meta Alloy isn't caustic. Just unlocked mine last night. 16 Meta-Alloy 26 Iron 18 Chemical Manipulators 22 Radiation Baffle 12 Neofabric Insulation
The issue which has stopped me doing this is not having a anti-corrosive cargohold. As i've never done any this content before. I stupidly tried doing this, collecting what i thought i needed. Then all of a sudden one by one my modules started to become toxic. So once i figured out what was happening, i went to find the cargohold. Only to realise there's a grind behind it 🙄 So now it's just slowed my progress right down
@@AtlasRandGaming Agni??? I was using AFM's but they become obsolete real quick. And the cost to repair modules after corrosion is crazy. Plus if you keep your cargo after getting repaired, it just starts all over again. It's pointless without anti corrosion cargo hold. Too many things to store in order to unlock fsd. Dammit
If you really wanted them and you didn't want to unlock the Rack, go to Palin or Sedesi and grab the Class 1F Corrosion Rack. Holds two slots. If you just need the Titan Drive that's a good option.
I'm good, I got my participation reward drives. I'm already 1500+ ly from the bubble and not coming back for a while. Thargoid combat was fun, let me know when we can get back to fighting scouts, interceptors and hunters. That was the fun part, the Titan was kinda meh.
Would have been nice if they let us know that this was going to be a thing....I'm 60K ly the other side of the galaxy at the moment, no way I'm going to be able to get these new fsd's
If they don't get rid of the wreckage for ALL destroyed Titans then you can do it. But i have a feeling they will get rid of all the debris by new year2025 OR on the new colonisation update.. There's also a grind behind it in a way. Plus you need an anti corrosive cargo hold for all the parts. Which has another grind behind it ED won't lock us out of getting the fsd's because you can get them in the stations. So the Titan parts will have to stay somehow. If you're that far out. I wouldn't bother coming back. If you really need 10/15 more ly's to your ship. Then rush back. But if you don't. I'd wait it out if i was you
Is it just me, or is it totally not worth it to do any of this for a pre-engineered SCO drive that only jumps a couple more light years yet has more mass, produces more heat and is less durable? Seems like a waste of time for the most part.
All this fuss for what, 2 extra yl ?? I got 91 ly jump on my Mandy, with a normal SCO g5 ! I doubt is worth, all this to only gain 2 yl extra... the difference is almost insignificant.
@@bigmemer4398 - from what I see here in this upload, he uses such a drive, yet his jump is 93... do you have a link to that supposed 99,8 build ?.... or you talk by rumors ? 🤣

BTW, I really enjoy your style in the annotations and overlays! Excellent way to show content!
Just don't shoot the bio-storage capsules with people inside!
Any evidence this actually helps?
I spent 2 whole caustic sinks launchers worth of ammo in Cocijo and found none, I spent a few hours at Rajin, 1ok from the center and found 5

Is this the FSD that was given for the community goal?
Yes
Community goal from what system, station, or rescue ship?...Daedalus in Sol does not have any goals available.
@@phfj123 Umm... Cocijo destruction goal. When they give all sizes of pre-engineered FSD(SCO) for any damage to titan)

Hutton orbital only

You can use Agni to fix stuff after corrosion. It’s not ideal but would extend gameplay
