Technically you shouldn’t hear it approaching since it’s moving more then 3 times the speed of sound.

And let's not open the can of worms that is different atmosphere, temperature etc - which can and will affect the speed of sound in one way or the other

since Mach is equal to object Speed/speed of sound and Speed of sound is different in other planets (and different altitudes).
In the ED universe sound doesn't need a medium and travels instantly.😬

The Imp Eagle will also go 932. I built a 932 Viper and Imp Eagle and both fun to fly. Sadly, Odyssey ruined just about all the planets and canyons. Pomache still has canyons though.

just do G5 performance enhanced thrusters and get the ship weight under the minimum weight for the thrusters and you will go thag speed
any ships that can go faster then this? :)
Nope, this is fast as the game engine allows a ship to go unless you clip your geometry weird and get flung.
