Having just started on foot gameplay I found your video interesting and helpful. I’ve been playing regularly since 2016 and grew tired of the normal gameplay loops and hid away mining solo or doing exo stuff. This on foot game play whilst very grindy…if you make the grind part of the gameplay there’s a whole lot of fun I didn’t realise was there…crazy huh..just got my Mav suit to G4, just those darn manufacturing instructions to grind..nice vid, I’ll be checking your playlist for sure .o7

I love the graphics of this game, but the gravity which this game shows for some planets is just way out off from fantasy. Planet of this size 0.27g impossible to hold an atmosphere. Others I saw one guys driving around on a planet with 42g 😂😂

What would really make the game a lot more immersive as if you could go to a planet that had a city or something or maybe a planet would have a lost civilization with ruined buildings and structures you get to explore

Interestingly enough, you can see that they were designed to fight vehicles/robots and not organic beings. Missiles target your ship exclusively and laser accuracy is not very good against a small target

I like videos that show what happens when u press buttons so that explain implicitly or explicitly what happens when doing stuff. True tutorials I mean yeah. And also not so cool jumping here and there when scavenging considering that Ai should see you including sentinels..So.. it's a bit of a immersion killer.

As for core chips - they ruined AX reactivation missions by adding banshee to the mix. It made already hard missions even harder - and now it takes forever to complete one: either by sneaking into base without alarming anyone or killing banshee first. Anyone who decided to add banshees to occupied military bases should have his ass spanked.

I guess it's dust, combined with the atmosphere. In Horizons there were some really really dusty planets who almost looked like the regular atmospheric ones in Odyssey. Although I thought that it was stupid, since there was no atmosphere, therefore can't be wind, so it can't be dust. But it was a cool effect nonetheless. Well, a reentry in no atmosphere is stupid also I guess lol. This planet looks great, and it proves what I said about venus-like planets: Frontier should implement those kind of thick atmospheres. They don't need to add biodiversity, or water, and even the fog would be a great trick to mask the popping.

honestly, elite is one of the space games with the biggest clear potential, yet frontier doesn't seem to know what they are doing with that game... the whole background simulation thing is super ambitious to start with, but they could make the game closer to eve online in the sense of making players less and less dependent of npc features. they could just slowly add simple features to make players able to do the things npc already do, like create your own settlements on planets, having players literally colonizing systems outside of the bubble by themselves, or just placing down basic infrastructures for repair or refuel. since odyssey exist now, and we have on foot gameplay, why no eva? that's zero work, eva would work exactly the same as ship flight. why no feature to repair your ship by hand either? they could very much make planets with an actual full atmosphere, add some actual flora and even fauna to it... have some super basic terraforming mechanics. ffs, there's terraforming in spore, that system would already be more than good enough in elite. but i think many of the obvious good ideas that wouldn't even be hard to implement, were left out because they were keeping those for the next extension.

Idk about the paint job personally, but it'd be a boring world if we all liked the same shit!
