I’m in love. I have made the sewing machine, cupcake and a few others. I am amazed yet again. This is beautiful. My daughter will be excited as well. Oh I wish you had a book. You make the process smooth with how you explain everything in such detail. Thank you for sharing. Your patterns and tutorials pulled my daughter and I through a lot of tough times in 2020. It truly is our therapy. And we were able to take it on the road with us as well. Thank you Lisa ❤️
Hi Faith, what a beautiful name! I love that you are sharing this with your daughter, my daughters share my sewing passion also, we are both very lucky to have this time with them! Let’s continue together this new year in a positive creative community. Thank you for all your support, stay safe ❤️🤗
The telephone pin cushion is so cute. I remember using a black phone just like yours. My sisters would taunt me by picking up a receiver in the other room and listen in on my conversations. Lol. I am a huge Batman fan and the red one reminds me of Commissioner Gordon’s bat phone. My sister and I would rush home from school, so we could watch Batman. (The original Batman of course). Thank you for reminding me of some fond memories and sharing a wonderful pattern. Love it!!
I'm in my 60's so of course I know these phones. I actually remember the huge timber phones that were attached to the wall. We lived in the country on a farm. This gorgeous little phone would be a wonderful gift. Everyone needs at least some hand sewing needles.
OMGoodness! Another masterpiece! I remember having these phones in the house, and having a party line. Does anyone remember those? Then we got really modern with the princess phone! Haha!
Yes I remember. My grandma had a party line and we had the black desk phone and a wall phone slightly more modern. Then the princess followed by push button.
I love this project! The pattern and construction is perfect. I will definitely make one. It will look great next to my sewing machine pin cushion. I am old enough to remember using that type of phone.
I just love you to bitz n' pieces Lisa !!! Your generosity to share your astounding and original creations with the world is just benevolent of you. I CAN remember these phones.... and yes in the lounge room chatting for hours with friends (and getting into heaps of trouble for talking so long) Thank you very much. Namaste Lisa. 🙏😍👏👏👏 👍😘❤️️🇦🇺
Thank you so much, I love that we have all these things in common, it keeps us connected 😊, let’s have a wonderful positive , creative New Year together!🥰🤗
I live in Uruguay and my daughter lives in Australia with y her husband sorry for my english and i love your pin cushion is very very really pretty .good bye
this will be great to give to my great-niece for her playhouse and also the sewing machine, teapot, and cups, and the fairy cakes am going to be super busy during the lockdown as this year am going to make all my gifts. Thank you Lisa
Oh my goodness! When you lifted the earpiece off the hook, I was floored! How you managed to create such beautiful items is beyond awesome. I'm looking at all of your videos to see what I have missed. I'm adding a like to each one.
Thank you sooo very much for sharing your awesome tutorials and patterns 😊 I pray that God showers you and everything that is connected to you with blessings this year because of your kindness to share ❤️❤️❤️
This will look wonderful on my craft room desk. How delightful. I have a phone my mum used for many years - very decorative and probably earlier than the one you made. I can’t wait to make one. Maybe jerry Maguire had one too ahahaha thanks Lisa - this is a brilliant project ❤️❤️❤️
That is precious 💖 😍! Thank you as always for sharing your talents and wonderful ideas and great patterns with us! Peace and good fortune and good health to you and your family. Love the red!
Hi Lisa.. Another fantastic tutorial Thank You. I can remember an older phone with a handle on the front that you turned and was connected to the operator chuckle
This one is the best! Thank you so much. I made the mannequin as Christmas gifts for my sewing group, they were amazed and thrilled. This will be my surprise this year. Lisa, Thank you for sharing your talent and time with us!
What a fantastic project for some decorative embroidery. This will be a great gift for a fellow sewer that has a birthday coming up. Great timing. I do have a phone like this in my garage, works great! Cheers!
i remember so well the old phones but my Auntie had a really posh one as hers was made of ( black baker lite) and had the draw at the bottom with a spring loaded pad for phone numbers. oh happy day. i love what you have done and i know this phone will trigger heaps of memories for lots of people. well done Lisa...you've done it again. x
Hi Lisa! How great would it be for you to do different models of phones- a rotary trim line, push button, pay phone, cell phone , flip phone and a older style phone from 1900’s- just an idea - I think it would be so cute and relate to so many people!! Thanks for your creativity and excellent tutorials!!
It's indeed very handy, I also like bigger pincushions and this one is very stable too, just hate I don't have more time this week!! Love vintage phones 😍 Thanks once again Lisa!
I have one of these phone's that still works on our landline if the power goes out on our cordless. It's also black. I absolutely LOVE it and this project. Your creativity is so amazing, I think Jerry Maguier would even like it..🤗
A brilliant project Lisa ! Its odd to think that some people never had these phones ha, I certainly did, eventually. I held out against mobiles, but had to get them in the end. Love them both, though the red one shows off your workmanship to great advantage I think. Thankyou Lisa, always a pleasure to see what you are doing.
I just love your videos. I have made six of your pincushions, which I collect and have given a few away. Would you consider making an iron pincushion. Thank you for giving us your patterns.❤️☎️
