Just made one so I stop losing track of my seam ripper. To save on hand sewing I used hot glue for the last step of attaching the bottom circle. Turned out great!
Did you cut the side peices larger than the pattern? I'm new to sewing..she doesn't show the 3/8" seam allowance, so I'm not sure if it's already included in pattern?
I love this! I just finished making one, but my interface is too lightweight, so the stuffing puffs into the center. I think I could've put in more stuffing, too. But I loved making it, and I might end up making another!
Yeah I think Nancy's interfacing is stiffer, kinda like a thin cardboard. My puffing came to the centre too and I assure you I didn't stuff it as much as I would have.

I love the project, but I did come across one issue. I had to sew the the eight exterior pieces at 1/4" instead of 3/8" in order to get it to fit the inner circle properly. Other than that it came together wonderfully. Thanks for the great tutorial.

Me too, I’ve made the centre a bit smaller, plus I’m going to add a round of cardboard to strengthen the centre. Other than that I love it.
