    Gotta say it. There were so many heroes on both sides all game. But someone has to acknowledge that when Paige was struggling on D, Nika Muhl came off the bench and showed the world why she was Defensive player of the year with a steal and amazing look down-court to Williams for the easy layup. It changed the game right then and there for the Huskies. Muhl is a beast of a ball player.

    Evina just demonstrated her poise and experience as a senior when she receives the ball with 4 wolfpacks swarming towards her she immediately recognized a team mate must be free somewhere on the court...then she saw Christyn Williams...oh man what followed was an awesome pass to book that last ticket to the final four.

      It was NC State’s time-out immediately followed by UConn’s so that’s why it lasted so long.

      @@stephennixon9609 I remember thinking the same thing live, but I noticed on replay, plus, UConn advanced the ball, which also indicates they used their time out.

    Why is everyone saying the refs favored uconn? The calls from this vid seem pretty fair to me, both teams got to the free throw line

      Bc they hate UCONN. Refs missed calls on BOTH teams. Final foul count was 16-16

      Lol ONO should’ve fouled out by the first OT! They did not call a lot of fouls against UConn late that were obvious fouls

      @@MrKouaVang Not at all, after a few pretty light fouls called against ONO, she played ultra conservative defense under the basket, basically just being tall and in the way. NC’s center took advantage and lit her up from then on. Then Aaliyah Edwards fouled out on basically no contact, so not sure how you think they favored UConn.

      @@xJBx72x absolutely right. The refs whistled a foul on the play just because they felt there had to be one. Then it was clear that Olivia had a clean block and they called afoul on Aliyah for being two feet away from the play!

    I am not a basketball fan, much less a Women's game fan. BUT this had to be one of the best ever high stakes game in any sport that I have seen! Right up there with USA v Canada women's hockey.

    I don't even think that UConn have played their best game yet. You would know they have arrive when you see Westbrook playing the type of D she is known to play and raining down 3's like we know she can. She is the X factor of this team in the Final 4. She was off this game. But she is a good enough player to bounce back. Paige, come on home to a place where you dreamed about The Target Center and the Final 4 baby.

    Good screen by 33 at the end of the first OT. Gave the shooter just enough time to get the shot off. Don't know if it was a drawn up or heads up play but either way, good way of singling out a weaker defender and delivering the pass on right on the money. Great play.

    I predicted that UConn would go to the final four months ago. Stormy, if you read my observation, Paige is very good basketball player. She is a wonderful player.
    They all played very well. My hat goes to NC State. Unfortunately, one has to lose. NC State played very well. I don't see any team beating UConn. My only concern is ONO inability to block shots. She raised her long arms up but she needs to jump so she can block opponents' shots.
    Overall, UConn played very well. Congratulations!

      Man did you see those petty calls the refs was calling. She got two of those bullshipt calls. That's why she played like she had to.

      Yeah I kinda took issue with with ONO letting smaller players score over her in this game and the Indiana game. If she actually jumped a bit instead of just letting her length do the work she would easily double her block numbers.

      She was in foul trouble along with Aaliyah. Since Dorka got injured they basically have no backup so they have no choice but to defend passively

      Whoa! So now you say that Paige is "VERY good basketball player." BUT-and it's a BIG-BUT-after seeing Paige score, what, 17 points in Double-Overtime, are you willing to concede that PAIGE BUECKERS is a "GREAT" player?? It's a simple question. Is Paige Bueckers a "GREAT" player, or isn't she?? Please reply with either a "YES' or a "NO!" I know, it's hard to swallow one's pride. But man-up and give us your honest opinion please! Thank You! (BTW, since you're SO good at making predictions, let all of us UCONN FANS KNOW IF UCONN WILL WIN THE NEXT 2 GAMES). 🙂

    If Fudd starts to shoot without fear she can easily shoot more threes then any other player in women's college basketball, her form is to pure

    NC STATE wasting timeout when is not their ball shows it cost them the game. You can't be this experienced as a coach and still make basic rookies mistake like this. Great game either way but still a dumb timeout

    UConn, you almost gave me a heart attack! We won... My heart goes to Dorka... Against Sandford, we need the Bigs...who is going to step in for Dorka? Stanford has tall timber, the 2 Hull sisters, and that pocket rocket Haley... Paige is Not 100, but had flashes of her old self... More excitement to come...win or lose, I am proud of these young women! Can we imagine winning the whole thing, after the ups and downs of this season?

      I'm pretty sure that Paige is a young woman but contact the NCAA and tell them they're mistaken in not calling the NCAA WCBB TITLE GAME the NCAA GCBB TITLE GAME (the "G" will let all of us fans know that it's a "GIRLS" BB GAME, and that NO women will be participating / or playing in the CHAMPIONSHIP GAME!).

    Did ONO play any defense at all other than the block? Don't miss watching her stand like a statue and allowing those she is defending to go around her repeatedly. Losing Dorka was huge. Here and in the final.

      This is a surreal take. Five of the fouls called on Nelson-Ododa and Edwards were awful including the one that gave NC State three free throws late. Fudd was grabbed and they called a tie-up.

    Great game to watch. Since Stewart, et. al. left, it seems like UConn plays their best game in the regional finals. Now, can they win, under the bright lights, away from home, in the Final Four? Or will it be 6 years and counting? I haven't seen Stanford, but if they're tough down low, they'll decimate UConn inside. That Nelson looked hopeless last night. Live and die on the perimeter, I guess. I bet they go after Bueckers like a buzz saw...hound her all over the court. It'll be time for the others to step up and lead. 60% from the stripe probably won't cut it either. We'll see. Bombs away, ladies! BTW, Bueckers and Fudd will be fun to watch next year. Elite talent! If only Geno could find a tough, big girl for the middle.

      what a hater. That’s what you saw??? She was their BEST defender against Indiana and I suppose you didn’t see her block on Crutchfield, or her forcing several turnovers, and a tie up that gave UConn the ball? She scored 27, shot 8/9 and 6/6 from the line in the 2nd half and OT, and scored 15 of UConn’s 30 pts in OT. It was one of the greatest clutch performances ever, willing her team to a victory over the # 1 seed to send UConn to the Final Four, despite still recovering from serious ingots injury, and all you see is what you think is meh D? Seek help.
