I don't see how you can bet against UConn at this point. The real X factor is Geno. I don't know what kind of relationship the kids on other teams have with their coach but you can see how much the players love Geno. It's obvious they want to win for him in the worst way.

An INCREDIBLE mistake made by Stanford's coaching staff in at least three of the few last action.
If you say to your girls to press suddenly after a score then you MUST also say to remain on the same guy that is defending on you while attacking!
It's absolutely wrong that each girl after a basket made had to loose 2-3-4 seconds to search on the ground the right girl to be pressed arriving with obvious delay.
In fact in EVERY action starting from the line, Uconn had always an easy line of first passage free without any pressure on it.

That forced Jones to try to take over, but she’s a 13 pt a game scorer, not 25, and shoots a pedestrian 42% and an anemic 27% from 3. She does all her damage around the hoop and off a rebound or a dish from penetrating guard, but that wasn’t working, so she tried to drive herself into the lane work her low post moves. She actually did very well, but perhaps got tired and settled for bunch of jump shots late, which isn’t her strength.

It took 10 minutes to play the last 17 seconds. I really wish they would do something about that. Maybe take away any unused timeouts at the one minute mark except for 1 for each team. Or only give them like a 10 second timeout.

20 minutes to play 60 seconds of basketball. Cut the timeouts down.
