- ♥ In today's video, I share a bunch of old photos and GIFs from my Tumblr glory days haha! I started my Tumblr blog in 2010 and started gaining a lot of followers in late 2011, early 2012. This is where everything I do today, started! I reached about 60,000 followers on Tumblr before choosing to move all my content creating over to RUclips, more or less permanently. Do you guys have any good (or bad) memories from this time? Were you on Tumblr or were you a h8r? Haha! BTW. Don't mind my weird lashes today... I added some singles and it looks kinda odd but I couldn't be bothered fixing it hahah.

Tumblr 2010 is an ERA
I looooved tumblr back then! I spent so much time on my horror blog, it’s embarrassing tbh haha. I can’t really get back into it, I don’t know why, maybe I grew out of it. Which is kinda sad bc I remember how happy it made me but oh well.
Now I understand why you were kinda active on tumblr in the past few days! It's always nice to see how much you've improved from back then, even though I've been following you only for a couple of years (thanks to that famous tattoo-stealing video haha) ^_^

I don't have my own Tumblr account, but I like to keep various other people's Tumblr pages bookmarked in order to check out pictures and videos of Annie "St. Vincent" Clark, one of my favorite musicians. These Tumblr pages also help me keep up with socioeconomic/political issues as they relate to popular culture. But these Tumblr contributors often stop posting after several years, much as Katrin did.
I still have my tumblr and I honestly didn’t think people used it much bc my blog pretty much died (stagnant followers) until i made a fall themed blog and got a couple thousand followers in a month and then i was like damn maybe people still use tumblr
Tumblr made me practice my English skills and make virtual friends overseas. And it also made me enjoy English literature to a point where I am now graduated at university :)

I still use tumblr from time to time. It has always been my emotional outlet. Now I try to make it aestetically pleasing, because that's making me feel relaxed.

Tumblr was a big part of my teenage years too. I didn't know anyone else in my school who also used it, so Tumblr was like my secret world. I posted anything i wanted and was much more open with people than in reality. The funny thing is that i had exactly the same taste in music back in those days and started to get interested in body modifications so i would definitely follow you haha (but i found your channel much later). Oh, and now i'm feeling nostalgic too.

I got to just under 2,000 followers on mine. Obviously I wasn't not well known in the slightest, but I felt like I had made my mark. I had a side blog that spoke about my mental health too. Back in 2014, I went to delete my side blog and ended up deleting both. I am still pretty gutted that I cannot see all the text posts and semi-nudes from my late teenage years XD I used to be such a confident little shit. I could certainly learn a thing or two from looking at my old posts.

I missed peak tumblr days but during 2012-2015 i was on tumblr like EVERY DAY i’m talking like i hit post limit every day. It’s pretty dead now but i still use it, i really miss how it used to be. I made a fall blog last year and it got a decent amount of followers and i enjoy it a lot and i’m continuing to use it this fall as well!

i've had a tumblr account since 2011 as well! i'm still pretty active on it too which is crazy. i don't have a big follower count though but i just enjoy reblogging pictures i like and looking through my own page seeing how everything matches and is aesthetically pleasing. seeing my own page helps my OCD because i've stuck to themes that make sense in my head and the themes are things i love and have a passion for :D

I totally remember this area of tumblr, it's so vivid in my mind. I had a band blog as well and I feel like I got a lot of my music taste from there too.
I have Tumblr since 2014, but I don't use it all the time though. I got busy with home life a lot. But three years ago I started writing a web novel based Tumblr (and surprised, haha) I stopped again due to business. As I tried to start again, the laptop i used had virus attack, thankfully it's not serious, and now the rest of of the novel (ish) are in hard disk.
I honestly don't mind if not many people read my blog though, because at the end of the day, it's just numbers. Tumblr is a place where I write stuff that I like. If I don't like it, there's no point doing it.

My Tumblr experience wasn't nearly as good as yours Katrin. I barely had any followers for 5 years until I deleted it. But I did make some friends along the way. I always wanted to be Tumblr famous though.

I was nobody on Tumblr, sadly mine was a lot about suicide and depression. I met some guy and we talked from time to time. He was constantly saying he will kill himself, i tried to help. One day he said bye i will die and never ever came back. His account was there and still is there untouched. I wonder what happened to him and i still sometimes think if he is ok. he never replied anymore
