The most controversial Calamity Weapon

The Blossom Flux is one of the most nerfed items in Calamity's history. It's been changed over 12 times, seems that the devs just cannot figure out how to balance it. It's pretty unique and cool though.

I remember having to make the exobow and a bunch of other bows along side the blossom flux(which was way rarer than 10% at the time) to make the drattalornias and now it has a very easy recipe

I still remember the original Blossom Flux, back when it was a legendary weapon. It had around the same attack speed as now but it didn't force your arrows to leafs. I remember using luminatie arrows and crashing my poor computer to blue screen.

i found once, that when using hunger arrows (from joost mod) along with leveling the proffieciency up on the bow (which i can only assume comes from calamity), they could pierce, and were suddenly more op then the murasama, dealing an incredible 400k/s

The Blossom Flux only drops after moonlord
Idk if its a bug but i opened 50-60 treasure bags, it didnt drop
But after i defeated moonlord I got it first bag

Nah u just unlucky my guy it drops at a 10% chance but in my experience all weapons with a 10% drop chance seem like its a 1% instead

Watch out for a weapon that will get buffed next update
The Tactical Plague Engine!
It used to be less powerful than its downgrade, but next update will buff it to be viable for post moon lord!

tried using drataliornus vs calamitas, she didn't melt and the damage was so much weaker than minigun's. highly hate that end game bow especially when left click is useless because you will eventually get hit if you aren't a maxwell main and lose all your dps in a second, right click is not reliable either.

as someone who used drataliornus for their exo's nohit. yes. this bow is extremely broken against them - it can get up to 100k dps with the right gear using the left click attack

Blossom Flux isn't as good as it used to be, but I believe it's still viable, especially in a bow only run. It's probably the best dps bow until pillars.
