The Penetrator feels like True Terrarian Weapon after defeating moonlord, Like you defeated the moonlord and now your given a weapon that makes you the strongest terrarian, It feels lore wise and its perfectly balanced, I love it.

Fargo's Souls truly feels like a fever dream sometimes.
The penetrator is actually balanced because you have to kill the mutant in eternity mode and not take any damage. That's hard as hell
You can kill it again after defeating him and it will skip directly to the desesperation phase.

actually its not just that, you also can't activate immunity frames from things like black belt dodges, cthulhu sheild ram, and hallowed armor
I swear that the developers of the Fargo's souls mod just throws the most random shit into a roulette and whatever gets picked by the roulette gets added into the mod
That or they are high on meth

The no-hit roles on discord are called "Cruel Eternity God" for Eternity mode and "Cruel Ultimate Masochist" for Masochist mode *(YES, THERE'S AN EVEN HARDER DIFFICULTY NOW)*

Well they kinda are (in some cases theyre actually usually worse than others)
Penetrator is exception since you literally have nothing to use it on since its post mutant

Fargos is the pinocle of bullet hell and cool ass weapons.
The spinning around attack that shoots many projectiles really reminds me from the Touhou 8 yukari last word spell card, it is very similar

This is inposible if you dont have over 9000 h killing that boss
It's actually probably one of the more fair fights in the mod, the fight has a static pattern and clear indicators all over so learning it doesn't take too long. Though I did last fight it in 1.3 so not entirely sure if it's still as fair as it was back then. But it definitely isn't an impossible task!
@@SwitchyWitch_ it's still a fair fight. most Fargo's bosses makes it feel like it's completely your fault when you lose a boss fight because of the lack of bs
The fight is probably the least bs of all of them, it has a repeated pattern and ample react time., outside of masso, masso just sucks

Fargo's Souls mod it's so fun to play but Jesus you have to grind a lot.
Some mods I would suggest for a playthrough are "ImkSushi", "Tokens", "Useful NPCs" & "Alchemist NPC Lite"... and you can also play in Journey mode if you want.
yeah this is tru but most of the minibosses and important enemys are sold by the mods modded npcs
u can craft a "battle cry" which increases spawnrate 10x
actually id say eternity mode is the least grindy mode ive played between thorium expert, master, calamity death and eternity
battle cry and platinum enchant make the grind so much easier
I havn't fought lifelight yet, but it looks cool and I can't wait to try it out. I'm pretty sure they're planning on adding earlier game boss versions of all the champions, so far there is trojan squirrel and lifelight

does the explosion on the dive bomb attack trigger on platforms. cuz if it does then you can make like 100 platforms only 1 block apart and have 100 explosions happen at once.
Yes this might be a strong weapon but what about the weapon that requires 100 dead dungeon guardians in 1 go which you only hav 12 minutes for and 10 chasing at the same time

Of course it's perfectly balanced, no jokes. Getting this thing requires nohitting the last boss of the mod, iirc at eternity difficulty. And that boss is one hell of a touhou boss.

Does this mod work with multiplayer? Calamity is getting abit easy for us two but I’m not sure if the bullet hells will work for us?
It should work, iirc some enchantements have coop buffs, the problem would actualy be the lag. Ive seen people with powerfull computers that had to turn of most of the buffs from enchantments or they couldnt play at more than 20 fps

Eternity bosses deals badly with aggro
it works but there will be acouple bugs here and there (for example retinlazers lazer has aimbot when its suppose to be spinning)
and yeah some enchants are bugged
