I've struggled with sleep for years, but since I started using this meditation video before bed, I've been experiencing the best, most restful sleep I've had in a long time.
This almost helped and I felt myself drift. I want to so bad but my trauma keeps creating images in my head that I’ve seen in my life… then the anxiety shoots me awake with adrenaline. This has worked before so thank u Jason. Just scared to close my eyes. I’ve had two hours in two days. The time just flies.
I understand and am going through the same thing. Don’t give up, don’t let the adrenaline fool you. It’s merely a symptom of a misplaced defense mechanism. Keep meditations going every day. Train your subconscious. You’re gonna be ok
I'm struggling with the derealization and anxiety from trauma, trying to let myself relax after constantly being on the lookout for my entire life. It's hard and some days it really sucks, but we got this together. ❤

In January my defibrillator went off for the first time. My body has been sensitive to all kinds of things which brought on severe anxiety. Recently, I was having chest pain/soreness. I could not figure out why, until, I finally looked at the side effects of the anxiety medication. Last night I was scared to take my anxiety medication and scared not to take it. That's when I found you. This put me right to sleep in 15 minutes, the first time I tried it. I will be trying this again tonight and If all works well, I can stop taking this anxiety medication. Thanks for being out there.

I used to struggle a lot with this, and sometimes I still slip back into unhealthy habits. I find that cutting out short-form content from my life, taking a few minutes each day to just sit outside and reflect, and hiking weekly help tremendously. You’ll get through this. 🫀

I love all of your sleep meditations & have been listening to them for months. They help so much! I have to say though, that I only got 14 minutes into this one and ended up stopping it. Maybe it’s just something for some reason that once you started the whole river thing, it was stressing me out. Maybe because I am not a strong swimmer, but I just kept thinking about drowning and kept thinking “when is the river bit going to end”. Falling asleep whilst drifting down a river is not safe so I am not sure how it can be relaxing, but it’s probably just me. I am now going to listen to the Fall Back to Sleep meditation. I am also trying to find another one which I listened to a few times and loved. From my vague recollection (because I kept falling asleep so quickly), it was something to do with a wood hut with large windows, a sofa that pulled out into a bed with a wood burner or similar opposite the sofa-bed. Would anyone have any idea what it was called?

Thank you for helping me fall asleep and stay asleep for five hours straight for the first time in 5 years since my daughter died from a genetic heart condition at a local hospital. Paramedics confirmed in the ambulance that she very obviously had a heart attack. ER doc sent her home and told her it was just a migraine. She died two nights later. I've not been able to get a full night's sleep since her needles death. Lay awake for hours at night with never sleeping at all. The stress of it causes more stress that makes me not sleep.
