Alex outlined this on JRE: he suffers from low oxygen when he sleeps. Low oxygen causes a release of DMT in the brain, which allows you to see through the veil into other dimensions. This has been routinely happening to him since he was a kid, so he is able to retain memory of the visions he sees when he sleeps. When he relays them to the public, he sounds like a crazy person because they can't go where he can go in his subconscious. I wouldn't call it a superpower, but.......
