      School hasn’t been about improvement for a long time. It just became a training ground for consumer robots, a poor diet is part of their control mechanism. Wake up, they don’t want you to know what is good for you.

      They do teach nutrition in schools, just not the right kind. Everything is PC, and it is MANDATORY they follow the authoritarian, I mean authorized program. Recall, or in case you weren't aware, the totalitarian communists and the fascists (competing evils) are in control over most everything in this country, including what your kid eats... Yeah, I said it, and it's time we just called it what it is...

      As Dr. Berg described, these fats are incorporated in cell membranes etc. and stick around for a long time. Any regimen adopted to reduce the 6:3 ratio will take time, therefore. Both Labcorp and Quest will perform a reasonably priced test to quantify the status to take away any doubt about it. A 1:1 ratio would be considered ancestorially correct but many say up to 4:1 ratio is okay.

    My other question is that, when it comes to oil, olive oil is one of the most "anti-inflammatory" oils there is and this is despite of the fact that the Omega 6 to Omega 3 ratio of olive oil is 10 to 1!! Which means olive oil has 10 times more omega 6 to omega 3! Then how can you justify its anti-inflammatory property if omega 6 is to be blamed for inflammation? and if there are other properties of olive oil that makes it anti-inflammatory, then this is a proof that we should not be considering omega 6 alone as the main driver for inflammation! Your response to this is highly appreciate Dr Berg.

      For olive oil: unsaturated fatty acids>saturated fatty acids. The more saturated the fatty acids , the more easily reactive they become in the body , which causes/contributes to inflammation. The unsaturated fatty acid ratio is the reason why olive oil seldom gets rancid ,compared to other oils.

    I've been on the CarnoKeto diet for about 2 years now. I'm pretty settled into it. Gave up on fried foods in veg oil long ago. Just the smell of a fast food deep fryer makes me feel sick now. Weird. Oil wise, I stick to Coconut or occasionally the real deal 100% cold pressed uncut olive oil from Italy. American grocery store olive oil is mostly cut with veg oil sadly. I eat a fair amount of Amish raised bacon and I fry my free range eggs in the renderings. Mostly though I stick to fatty beef as main fat source. 80/20. Gained a taste for beef liver. Beef heart is great! Tastes just like roast beef. Had a physical and blood work (expensive) recently and got complemented on the results. 👍 Wanna lose fat? Eat fat, I promise you. But NO carbs meantime. Bacon is your friend. Week over week you'll notice the difference.

      With pleasure 🤗
      As a matter of fact I'm going to make it tonight so that I can prepare some delicious wraps to take at work tomorrow.
      It's so easy and quick once you get used to make it.... and I love it! This is why I hope dr Berg tells me it's ok with keto.
      Let's go to the ingredients:
      - Half cup coconut flour,
      - 2 tbsp psyllium husk powder;
      - 1 tbsp coconut or extravergin olive oil;
      - 1 tsp baking powder (or baking soda with a little drop of apple cider vinegar),
      - A pinch of salt (according with your tastes),
      - 1 cup (240ml) hot water.
      Mix all the dried ingredients and then add the water and mix before with a spoon and then with your hands work a bit the dough.
      Let it rest at least 10 minutes and then take a bit of dough, make a sort of ball and squeeze it between 2 cooking papers and with a stick or something equivalent make a flatbread shape.
      Then cook it in a skillet with lid.
      With this dose I usually make 2 or 3 flatbread. It depends on your skillet.
      Once done you can fill them as you like.
      Cream cheese and salmon and rucola,
      Blue cheese walnuts and rucola, ham and cheese, hummus (not keto) and vegetables....
      The consistency is very flexible and you can wrap it easily.
      You can also add some garlic powder or curcuma and black pepper or Italians herbs...
      I hope my English hasn't been too confusing. ...🤭 let me know how it goes 🤗

      Just some thoughts since I’m not a doctor. Contact dermatitis or autoimmune tendency? How much do you sit and what’s your diet like? There could be something you’re eating that’s triggering the response. Does the itchy area look different than the rest of the body? Or is it all internal? If you can see some dermal irritation, try oil of oregano on the area. Use just a little to start with... and don’t put it on any sensitive tissues as it can feel like it’s burning at first. I had a spot on my chest that completely healed with its use, but your mileage may vary.
      If it’s all internal, maybe it’s just a slight allergic reaction. Check your diet and look at what you’re eating immediately prior to the itching.. that could be the simplest thing to fix. Good luck.

    Dr. Berg WHAT?! Chicken is an animal fat, how can it have omega 6?!?!?!
    Please note I live in Canada. Our chickens are not fed GMO ingredients.

    • @priestesslucy
      @priestesslucy 4 года назад +1

      It's because commercial chicken is raised in a cage on a constant supply of nothing but grain and soy.
      Pastured Chicken that eats bugs and nibbles on a bit of grass has a MUCH better fat profile.
      You get a lesser version the same effect contrasting grass finished tallow to grain finished tallow. It's not as bad because the beef animals spend the first half of their lives on Mama's milk and grass before theey go to the feedlot to be 'finished' on concentrates similarly to the chickens.

      @@StandUpForCanada1867 yeah, omega 3 enriched conventional eggs would certainly be a step up.

    My friend use organic canola oil, cold pressed. This in not gmo, and no chemicals or heat used to extract this oil. Usually all keto doctors do not recommend it because it is mostly gmo (not in this case) and omega 6 warnings. But I was very surprised to know, that natural canola oil has 1:2 ratio of omega 3 to omega 6. This ratio is much much better than in olive or avocado oils - 1:13.
