      @@moparmuscle304 did you upgrade to premium crank bearings or using standard? I’m on the fence about it changing them out. They are an extra $100 so I think for my peace of mind it makes sense.

      @@moparmuscle304 yes sir thanks. These motors are fun to tinker with. We are going with hellcat tranny and rear end. I think what seems to be the hardest part is finding someone to link the TCM to the ECU. It’s kind of a shame that Diablo is not really capable of letting that happen without being a pain. Especially for how expensive they are. Definitely looking forward to your progress man. Good work!

      @@nicholashuckeba7212 thanks. i would switch to hp tuners thats what i use and just gives you more tables and adjustment and find you a good tuner to tune the car im going to be using steven dixon / evolution tuning and performance he use to be the tuner for mmx but went out on his own now but they are lots of good tuners out there flying ryan performance / dtp brent hudges just to name a few he also tunes for a few shops American muscle performance being one of them .if your doing the hp90 swap depending on your year example if your car is 15 you need to find a hp90 that came out of a 17 back car if 18 and newer you need to find one that came out of a 18 up car 18 up seem to have trouble communicating with 17 back cars on a swap the tcm and the can bus is different and lot tuners have trouble getting it lined out if its a 18 plus trans in a 17 and older car ect.

    If building it from the block up, why not put a 426 stroker kit on it?

    • @moparmuscle304
      @moparmuscle304  Год назад +2

      To each there own its a boosted set up but its not really worth the extra money to go 426 on boosted applications bout 40 to 50hp diff tops on a good day on boosted set ups. The 392 forged is more than capable quick example comparing them n/a full bolt on and cammed 392 done right will lay down 500 to 520 wheel ....a 392 stroked to a 426 n/a usually lay down 550 to 560 wheel on 93 bout 11.1 compression ratio ....now the 454 stroker will make over 600wheel on 93 done right but the 454 is more n/a based

      @@moparmuscle304 Oh no doubt. Solid builds all around. I was just wondering why you didn't do it.
      Me personally, I want to squeeze every ounce of power out of my 392 block and at the same time, prepare it for boost with forged internals. My logic is it's already going to cost a small fortune to do it, what's a few thousand more to stroke it while it's apart.
      Thanks for the response!

      @@larrygarms7230 it's not gonna matter as much with boost given your starting out with a 392 really longer stroke cranks don't work as well with boost but it would be a touch more efficient not much but 411 and 405 kit would work better but it's over 4k for a low compression stroker kit and then you have to clearance the block for the rods ect so honestly not worth it in a boost application far as a 392 goes ....the 6.2 hellcat cranks are same stroke as a 5.7 3.58. 392 cranks are 3.72 .plenty guys runs 8s on stock displacement forged 392s with supported mods and .my friend has been. 8.5s on stock displacement hellcat block with supported mods basically wanna try to stay close to 4.00 stroke on the crank or as close as you can for boost application unless it's a 5.7 then id do a 392 stroker kitt but otherwise your wasting money for a stroker kit if going boost unless your just trying to squeeze everything you can out and shooting for low 8s or 7s in the 1/4 now n/a is a different story I'd go 454 stroker if I was shooting for na set up..just basically saying save your money not worth it unless just want to .
