one warning research your laws on aux lighting . some states they need covering if considered off road, some they need to be disconnected , some there never allowed to be on public roads. and the main thing common curtesy like high beams dim when oncoming traffic and parked unloading dim to the parking lights hence the name . nothing more annoying when someone pulls in front of house facing oncoming traffic causing the car to go around with headlights blinding .dangerous if a kid adult or pet runs around to get somethin in passenger side. off road great to have all light as possible
Thx for the tutorial to install. Amazing difference! However, the light bar is probably not legal for use on public roads as it is blinding for oncoming traffic. These are offroad auxiliary lights.
I just installed these lights and bracket on my Promaster it took me about 3 hours with your instructions everything went great, the only thing I probably did different is I added about 2 feet of wire to one of the spot lights because it was short and I really wanted to hide the wires. Me and my wife were laughing like you were when we did the low beams then high beams then the LED Bar light haha!
Awesome! haha. I wish I could add the light bar on my new van but the parking sensors and auto braking safety sensors are in the way. I'll find a work around soon I'm sure.
We have a Thor Tellaro 20A. I followed the recipe and it turned out great. Super thanks for the detailed description and parts list. wanted to do this for a long time. Cheers.
Install stainless steel bolts with locknuts to make it harder to steal both your lights and the license plates. I installed them on the front and back. The locknut makes it extremely hard for someone to steal your license plate with just a screwdriver.
Install my light bar yesterday and thxs for the tutorial.. the only thing that I did different was I took that plug out drilled a hole in it then fished my wires through it then put in back in..
Been wanting to put light bar and floods on my pro master for awhile, was a little intimidated by the process until your video. Thanks, I will be ordering through your link
I appreciate your willingness to help us all do this! I followed the same process as you with slight modifications from your craftsmanship and skill. I hollowed out the fire wall grommet and reused as I passed the cables thru. I also used Wago connectors, they allow disconnecting the wires for changing out headlamps/signal bulbs and then reconnecting the connection, no wire waste or soldering involved.
Thanks for taking the time to post. While every install and equipment is different I always learn something new. The bracket was a sweet find, that's a good bolt on solution.
Just wanted to thank you for guiding me through the installation of this light. It made it so much easier to know what parts and tools were needed to do it easily. Still not sure if the plate panel will be secure enough but I think I will reinforce it a bit more to insure it doesn’t come away from the bumper.
Thanks for the video! I have had these parts for a year now and never got motivated to do it. You video was very clear and made me want to get in gear and install my lights in a few days. The idea for the hood mounts I like and just ordered some. Should be able to install when the part comes in. Thanks again!
Just screwing the whole assembly into the plastic outer bumper is not very secure. removing the grill to enable adding bolts with spacers through the steel inner bumper would be much more work but seriously stronger and lasting.
Thanks for the great video those lights are awesome I’ll be looking into it hoping it as easy as I watch your installation keep up your great work I use lot of your videos as I built my PM
Thanks for the excellent video! I purchased them and installed them myself. By the way I am curious where grounded the relay? I ended up grounding it to the metal next to the battery.
The harness kit that came with it only had a lead that would go to the main light bar and another shorter lead for the smaller light, but not a second set of leads to run to the other light. Do you have to add more wires to go to the second light, or is the link for the harness incorrect?
There are two links there, one for just the light bar and one with the light bar and the flood lights. The kit comes with everything. That's the link i used for mine with the flood lights. Maybe your package didnt include everything and you need to return to amazon?
of course i would never use this on a road with other cars around it's way too bright, this is for a dark road when you are all alone or off road. Yes it's screwed into the plastic
FYI - This lightbar / mountwill not work on Promasters that have front perimeter sensors....... the sensors "see" the lightbar and think you're going to hit something. Bummer as I really wanted this to work.
Oh man that’s a bummer. My new van has the sensors. I’m going to have to figure out a work around for that. I’m going to see if pulling the fuse will work. Bc honestly I can’t stand all the new sensors. If not I’ll have to find a new place to mount it
@@SCP-SAM I have a 22 that has them, my 21 didn’t. I also have options packages on the new one that I didn’t have on the old one so it may or may not only have them if you have the option packages. Not sure
Awesome video and idea, thanks! I’ll be purchasing the main light bar for sure and will probably end up throwing the smaller floods too, will be sure to purchase from your links.
Appreciate this installation and demonstration of the very bright light bar. I think I'll put the bar only on mine. Have you considered or already done external cameras and monitor? I'm putting them on mine for safety awareness when inside for the night.
This is against the law in many states. You can have those on the streets even if they are turned off they need to be covered for off road only just wanted people to know but otherwise yeah way cool.
Very cool! Legally, can you drive with those on? Honestly, I suppose it's more "if a light bar is on in the middle of nowhere but nobody is there to see it, is it really against the law?"
Legally they are for off road use only. You are not allowed to have them turned on for on road use. I use it all the time when there is nobody in sight.
Awesome
Thanks for sharing 😇

Nice work! Thanks....used to live on 30th and Balboa back in the day! Great times!
What about the fog lights? Are they on when the light bar is on?
Definitely a worthy upgrade.
Yes they are

Very cool thank you
Thanks for the video, the mount and light bar had no instructions included. You were the instructions!!!
Should have did the hanger trick with the switch wires. Great job though. Hind sight is always 20/20😂
When is the link to purchase?
Everything you need is in the description of the video
For some reason the links were not showing up yesterday and now they do. Probably the dreaded iPhone update. Thank you very much.
Is this legal on public roads
of course not

same here!
Wago connectors? Where do we find these and how easy is the install...any special tools needed? Thnx
I don't understand how the tank will fill up from the bottom. Doesn''t the drain from the sink need to be fed into the top of the gray water tank?
Wrong video, but it fills, there will just be water in the pipes below tank inlet. Think of how a p trap works under a sink, it's the same concept.
Great video! Thanks. I think a shot of the unit on the van would have finished off the video !!
Great video , Thank you
I’m in Irvine So Cal , can you help me on installation? I’m not a handyman, just bought a 2014 promaster van.
im not really working on other people vans right now sorry

Where on the battery did you make the connections? Especially if you have a dc-dc battery charger.
Right on the terminal.

The battery is grounded and you are connecting to that so I think it should be good
Thanks for the great video! Could the light bar mount on the hood and clear the wipers using the floodlight brackets, and allow for opening the hood?
No you wouldn’t be able to open the hood and also the light would Point too high I think
