Get a cluster from a 89 - 92 firebird, the speedometer is electronic and 4k pulse per mile. Oil gauge will work off 4th gen ls sender. The 3 wire temp sensor from the 98 (single year) fbody will feed the pcm and cluster. You will need a pull up resistor to drive the tach. I have all my gauges working, accurately on my 89 ls/t56 swapped firebird.
Love the video! This will be a big help for my gm 6.0 im putting it on! Looks pretty easy! Also did you ever get the lights on it going? If you did how so? Thanks in advance!😁

What parts would I need for the tach? Do you have a link? Just trying to figure out which way I want to go. I might do the digital dash on hawks
@@Lsxtransam83 tach just needs a pull up resistor to work off stock ls1 computer search thirdgen on that.

Where is this kit from? Everything you used?
Hey Chevrolet did you not watch the video? I have all that info
What did you do about the PCM. Does it not need to read the oil pressure also.
Michael Schubert im not sure what was already done to the pcm, but it runs fine without it.
Pcm doesn't need to read oil pressure
Is that a truck intake? Didn't know if it would clear with the factory trans am hood on the 83.
111hornman yes It is, there are a few people who have used them
Any update on the trans am for us please
