Ahhh... The X-Men Cartoon Maker. I used to have this program when I was 12. It was such a fun program. So many memories. So much nostalgia.

I played hours of this as a kid, and there are so many characters and backgrounds that only came up in one episode of the show. I had no idea what half of it was.
There is not, in fact, a way to remove things you've already placed. Even in the demo toons, the best they can do is cover up placed characters with explosions or the paintbrush.
Anyway, fun to see you guys appreciate the jank of my childhood!

Good to know that we weren't missing something! This game was a lot of fun and such a great example of PC games in the '90s. How many hours would you log on this game?

@@themutantagesOh who knows. Maybe 100? Enough that I made several semi-competent narratives, but I stopped before taking the full plunge and plugging in a mic to record voice over.
As I recall, there was a similar game for the Spider-man Animated Series. Pretty much a copy-paste of this one, only way less characters, which they made up for with more varied animations. From a fucking around standpoint, this one was way more fun.

I had this. And the spiderman cartoon maker and if you had both it would intergrate. i spent so much time playing with this when i was like 10years old to 12 years old. i think i might even have the old c.ds somewhere. the version i had had sound files from the original cartoons with the actual voice actors. sounds crazy but this was peak pc stuff in the day. Ther was also a 3 cd disk game i had with pen and teller and jennifer aniston on it. i think it was steven speilberg film maker. it was crazy very early days were you could but your own film. i think it was called directors chair. quentin tarantino was also in it.
