Awesome Whonny 💪 The first years always the worst but it gets much easier after that, your plumbing knowledge should make the learning curve easier for you. Wishing you all the best with your future! 👍
What do you guys do if they don't have a clean out? pull toilet, or through roof vent? Your videos are so satisfying when the lines clear and it's just rippin as you call it.
Great job guys thank for showing us how theses crazy clogs can get !! Wish I had one of thoses hose machines 🤪I just cleared out my grain this morning at 6am 😱🙈I keep telling theses guys not to use so much TP !! Bad thing is I DONT GET PAID !!! Have a great day from Long BeAch California 👍
My guess too! We gave them a quote to excavate and replace the pipe. The last time they only got 4 months before it backed up again. Love to get a video of us digging and fixing it but will see!
Yeah after doing drains for a while you definitely get a feeling when your at the issue spot! Typically with the jetter you can feel if you are going into thick sludge because it gives you a little resistance through your hands or if it’s a break in the pipe or a hard blockage you can feel the jetter almost bounce back to you when you press into it! 👍 it’s easier to know when your at the spot with the cable machine because most of the time the motor with bog down indicating that your into resistance!
Love your videos. Don't get discouraged about the low subscriber numbers. It took Drain Addict a while before his numbers started rising up. Putting a comment on his channel would help make other viewers aware of your content. Also Drain Spotters in New Zealand and Drain Unblocking in England.
Thanks Timothy! Appreciate it...honestly started taping the jobs just so my wife could see what I get into on a daily basis, but never knew I would enjoy making the videos this much! Drain addict’s does a great job with his content, hopefully one day I will be there but love being able to communicate with everyone 👍
Yeah just a bit of water! Hate when the situation is like that between the house and there’s no stopping that. We asked the customer after on the phone and they said they were close friends with the neighbor and it wouldn’t be a problem 👍 Thanks goodness could imagine coming home to find a surprise smelly sewer in my yard 😂
Boy I bet your dog loves those boots. I bet he cleans them right up. Do you leave them outside on the porch or do you just walk right on in and take them off at your recliner?
I have a question about my septic system. Never had one before and this is an old system. I had it inspected and asked them to pump but halfway through they stopped and told me there is mud inside. They said that they don’t want mud in their tank and that I have to get someone else to dig the mud out. I can not find any videos talking about what to do if I have mud in my system? Please help!
It looks like oatmeal from hell. I don’t know much about drains but I’m guessing they need to fix this rather than let it continue to backup all the time. At least these people chewed their corn 🌽.
😂! We gave them an estimate for excavating the pipe, will see where that leads. We’ve jetted from that clean out for 4 different home owners in the past! Guess it’s easier to sell the house than fix some of the issues 🤦♂️
Hello guys another great video, I think nasty poop says it all, it's a good job you do not include the smells in your videos. Respect again from the UK stay safe, looking forward to the next video. :) :) :)
Smells like taco bell. Here's a trick I learned from my dad about "holes in the bag" ("if you see a hole, make it a little bit bigger then tie it up twice.") It works every time as a long time can and bottle collector.
I've done the same tying the bottom. I use the small grocery ones when cleaning the fridge. I can leave anything that would spoil in the garage fridge until pick up day. That way it doesn't sit in the trash for a day.
Im trying to expand my plumbing business, id like to offer sewer jetting and main snaking, but im a major germaphobe, and cant stomach even watching this. The most ive done until now was clean 1 sewer pump and pit, probably never again... but there is 1 building that i work at all the time( at least 40 full days this year alone) that im always changing out 40 -50 feet at a time of 4" cast and knuckles that lead to the main, that i can do not a big deal even while tennants are home and flush every now and then i just have to move out the way when i hear it flush.... and once i get the main 4" wye on its just a straight run and some branches, so i feel if i can do these sewer replacements live i can do jetting and sewer snaking..... any ideas on how to get over that phobia of dealing with sewage all day?
Honestly when the whole TP crisis started I was wondering the same thing to myself, and if they couldn’t get TP what other materials were they going to use 😂👍
Positively volcanic 😂 and if a pro thinks it smells bad it must be really bad. Think you should have put camera down this one to see if there was an actual fault.
A blow bag would have been better. Rubber ball blow up seals the pipe off and the pressure builds up after Turing the water hose on. You won’t have a Shits creek running in your yard.
im usally on a 90 when i hit that hard piece, i try n just twist my jet hose and it usually goes through, i bring vicks vapor rub to put under my nose or dior sauvage it only works for like five minutes though lol
Most commercial situations do a yearly maintenance where the pump is removed and sprayed down to stop the build up on the pump itself, checking over the electrical cords and the impeller while also washing down the man hole.. they usually are pretty built proof if the wrong things aren’t being flushed 👍
@@DrainPros ah I see.. I had the septic pumped out a few days ago. the guy checked the pump and the buzzer as part of the process and was working fine so it made me wonder if there was anything I could do to further maintain it, its 21 years old now after all.. Thx for the reply.
Yeah we jetted it around 4 months ago..Wanted to show how fast the sludge had built up in the line, the customer decided not to go with the dig and risk it having issues again and it did! Good eye Jon 👍
@@DrainPros These drain cleaning videos have taught me to always chew corn, especially Drain Addict. Even if it has no nutritional value. I don't want my poop corn on RUclips. 😂
I don't understand why people throw towel paper and wipes down the drains... TV commercials anuncies that towel papers are water-resistant, they don't dissolve in water...
Always wear a ppg inc a face shield and treat sewage line with disinfectant before starting the exercise and after you finish your exercise germs are no play thing
If you want perfect cleanup, then you have to do what the US Army did in Palomares in 1966, excavate a foot deep and ship the soil to a nuclear storage facility. Otherwise it will bio-degrade shortly enough anyway.
Not disinfecting and hosing down the neighbor's property and the customer's is a big NO NO! If i where the neighbor i would press charges against you as it is considered toxic human waste
Bruh. You got a whole shovel full. How tf do people shit that much? Also, do you just toss it in the bin or take it to a specialized disposal place like a transfer station?
That is an amateurish method. They are spreading sewage onto the ground when they should be looking for a full size cover which means that the sewage is confined to the drain! It takes time to find that drain cover, but that is the proper method of access for the jetter and confines the sewage within the chamber.
Few people, if any, approach this type of work with the zeal and courteousness you demonstrated in this video. We need more folks like you on this planet.

The water pressure pushing sewage was a bit slow to low, Superb job by the way

What does it mean when you say there's a belly in the line?? I'm curious!! And you are awesome 👌
It is a low spot that holds water
Is it normal for " sludge" to backup and come out the cleanout?
much respect to you for the service that you provide, but I must ask...how do you sanitize all the tools that you have used on the jobs ???
