I think they are increasingly more common nowadays. We are connecting more and more everyday. Black white men women gay straight rich poor and people from virtually every country...everyone is now more connected than we have ever been and the walls continue to crumble down...naaaaah na na na na na na na break down the walls of jerichooooo naaaaah na na na na na na na just put your lips together and blooooow!
Very cool 2nd part, I enjoy listening to Lars talk, a very interesting and articulate guy 👍 looking forward to pt 3 and the wrestling talk tomorrow 😊 great job Zet!
Great interview Zet. I love metal like Slayer and Exodus and Morbid Angel but I also love me some punk rock and hardcore like Rancid and NOFX and CRO Mags and Sick of it all and Descendents and Screaching Weasel.
I was born i 92 haha but..... you like the band CANCER, or AUTOPSY???? Ive been on an obscure death metal music adventure listening for about 2 weeks straight now haha....
Great interview. It's interesting how at around 13:00 onwards, freedom of speech and the freedom of the US are discussed and at the dame time, the corrupt and mostly private prison system and the fear of going to jail even if you have done nothing wrong. Has happened to me while living my teens and early 20's in the US, one of those contradictions of life in the States.
Steve this was a blast watching you and Lars converse...both of you are such down to earth cool dudes, but what I love most is your agreement that Point of Entry is the best Priest album...its mine too!
Hell yea man!!! interview LEE VING!!!! To bad GG ALLIN or SETH PUTNAM wasnt alive today.... i wish i had a return to life for a few more years button...........
Swastika symbol was stolen by the Germans from Hinduism in India. Not Japan. It’s an auspicious symbol that is meant to represent devotion. The Nazis fucked it up.
I was once anti God and it didn't work out at all for me. It was chaos death and lies. At the time it seemed OK as I fell deeply into death and darkness I was decaying inside. Leaving the anti God bs was huge for me. My life has improved big time. Just my opinion, I know people don't care about.
First time I ever heard the song "Avenues & Alleyways" was when I was 17 in early 1987 on "GBH-No Need To Panic."..Then in October 1987.. I saw GBH/The Accused/Poison Idea.. in Portland, oregon at Pine street theatre for that tour..
and I'm no keyboard warrior saying this - I toured in a band on Lars' label for several years 09 and 10. I should say that his fame awarded me the opportunity to actually tour out so in a way thanks Lars
Most 20 somethings right now are not millenials guys, just fyi. Most millenials are close to 30 and 30-something (I'm 32). The ones that are even more "socially conscious" now, are centenials/generation z.
People of color meaning African Americans ? Affordable housing, affirmative action, equal opportunity employment are chances that are specifically directed at that. About 75% of my local government is African American, as is my neighborhood. I didn't really come here to react to lars' politics, but maybe I can help him out: In 2017 more than 60,000 cops were assaulted. in recent years about 50 cops have been shot and killed annually in the line of duty. More cops are killed by suspects in the line of duty each year than unarmed African Americans are killed by cops. If the USA is institutionally racist why stop at defunding the police? We could also defund public education, the military , the fed, Freddie Mac, the department of labor etc. My dads a legal immigrant, a middle eastern man, but he never was considered a "person of anything." Neither was I, so I found punk and metal. I hear the term 'fascist, way more than I ever heard anything racially derogatory. Maybe this will help Lars to write more insightful lyrics !
@Scott Smith This is very common in the thrash and even later punk scenes (musicians not being bright), metal has all kinds of people, but a common pattern is, the more dark/extreme or thoughtful the music is, the more intelligent and/or informed the musician is. Thrash metal was never known for having bright minds in the music or the fans, there are some, but there's way more of "fuck the system and let's drink beer" attitude than in other sub-genres of metal.
I have been enjoying the majority of this interview. I really loved the part where Lars states that we need to get back to civil discussions in order for progress to be made, and to let people believe what they want because they have that freedom. Additionally, I liked the statement he made when he said if you tell people they are wrong and make them believe, act and talk in way that you approve under penalty of violent or even lethal force its FASCISM. hypocrite.
Everyone hides behind a meme these days. Social media is a big problem today. Was nice seeing two guys just talking and trying to solve the world problems face to face ( the way it should be)
Agree, but what baffles me even more is not seeing any extreme/musician see through the hoaxes that both corona/ and BLm are. They´re taken away their lively hoods and ffs they still don´t see it´s all by design!
This is awesome Zetro, best yet. My friend Psycho Dave Laugten HAMC Toronto did a tattoo on Lars leg I think in like 2016. I love Rancid, 1 of my top 5.
An adult conversation. Increasingly rare nowadays...

Great interview!
People get treated how they carry themselves. Own up and grow up. You are responsible for your own actions.
19:26 "...They used to call 'em... SPAN-DEX-O-DUS.." OMG! 😁⛧🤘

Body Count, Exodus, DRI, and Pro-Pain was my first metal show at the Academy in NYC. Still the illest show I’ve ever seen
Awesome lineup. I wish I seen that tour
Great interview
He had to bring the racist virtue signal, but Zetro just said that's not going on. The best part is they didn't argue.
I'm lucky my kids like Overkill and Kreator. Awesome Lars.
My eldest kid loves those bands too 🤘
Lars you are the best man much love

Lars voted and is voting for Trump.
Don't fool yourself, he enjoys the tax breaks also as a millionaire and not a damn thing wrong with that

Lars is a bastard!!! Love this dude...my one of my favorite dudes ever much respect Lars!!
Would be pretty good to get Animal from the Anti-nowhere League on here. Could imagine some good stories, Metallica covering "so what?" Etc

Great interview. I never knew lars had a different last name
Sorry I bowed out as soon as he threw his little political rant in and had to ram his opinion down ....no thanks
truth hurts i know
Fantastic!!!
it's a symbol from India
The swastika is but it's in loads of other cultures. It used to be a symbol of luck for British pilots in ww1
🇺🇲🇺🇲¡Trump 2020! 🇺🇲🇺🇲
