I was on this one, the quiz, holy shit i was 20, WHAT A NIGHT!! Went down with a certain Dave Fishwick who was also on it!.....happy, happy days...and nights!!😅
come on !!! this was great i lived for watching this in the day and dreamed of meeting Pete and mac in a club never made it but this was a time clubbing was boss and to be able to see clubs around the country was just great
Thanks. The dance contest was a lot of fun to watch - and there were some great tunes all through the episode (especially the last one and the Real Wild One remix)
I've suddenly developed an interest in this show 28 years after it finished. I was only about 13 at the time. I might have had a vague idea about it back then.
Honestly, couldn’t tell the difference between Ruby Turner and Lisa Stansfield, or Sybil for that matter. Just a giant haze of Roland TR-909 drum machines!
Used to watch this on TV for the music. But rarely went clubbing to places like this because I hated getting dressed up. After a week in a shirt and tie in an office, I preferred putting something casual on. Manchester clubs latched onto this the first and relaxed their dress codes. Other more provincial ones stayed rooted in time.
The Visit from The TV show ,was on " ISLE OF MAN AT THE PALACE ( LIDO ) HI-TECH LASER DISCO SUMMER 1989 The Biggest old fashioned type " Ballroom Dancing 🕺 🕺 " Hall An Amazing Huge Building ,now sadly Gone the Hitman & Her that night was absolutely Packed & jammed 💯💥😁🎵🕺🕺🕺🕺🕺🕺🕺🕺🕺🕺🕺🕺🕺🕺🕺🕺🕺🕺🕺🕺🕺🕺👍
@ neilpower60 To be fair, whatever your views on Pete Waterman, he was only 42 here and Michaela was around 23 yrs old. So he was only just about old enough to be her Dad.

I loved this show.
I worked nights at the time, but we had an 'early' finish on a Friday.
No matter when I got home, this always seemed to be on.

I honestly don't remember guys wearing ties when I went clubbing in the late 80's !
The door men had a box of old ties you were given one before you could go in ! Always got the kipper tie Lol

Hitman and her in Taunton
Sorry I don't have that one
What an idea, a young lass and somebody old enough to be her grand-dad on a night out to the nearest fleapit club
The grandad is Pete Waterman. One of the most successful producers of the late 80's / early 90's.

Hmmm...the hit man and her. Maybe ITV should commission a new series and get Johnny Depp and Amber Heard to host it.
Get the name right Pete! Raoul Orellana! Show some respect to the artists you feature on your show!
